All 3 worked for $500 variable cards ($5.95 fee). But beware, the limit is $1000 of gift cards in a transaction. The register will not accept more than a $1000. So have to split in 3 separate transactions if you want 3 $500 cards. Worked without an issues today for me

Were you able to do 1 Visa, 1 MC, & 1 AE at $500?

Vanilla Visa is working now. They must’ve fixed it since noon Friday. Bought the blue A Gift For You variant with $5.95 fee.

Which design did you purchase for the Vanilla Visa? And was it the fixed amount card or variable card? If variable, does more than $100 work? Can it all be done in one transaction (i.e. 2x $20 HEB cards free)? Thank you

Fixed 100 card. I can do 2 x$20 HEB with the purchase of one visa and one Mastercard in one transaction

The cashier said had to be 3 transactions when I bought them today.

I did all 3 as part of one transaction, visa, mc, amex. VS and Amex were fixed, MC was a variable load card. All for $100 each

Is using the self checkout fairly easy? Does it require a clerk to verify over each time, or can you process all on your own?

The vanilla visas weren’t working last year during the deal either.

I gave up on vanilla visas at heb. Last time I got the vanilla visa coupon to work was 2022.

I would load $500 on each one of them, but Vanilla visas were such a pain last time to use anywhere. They locked my card and had to call for a replacement one. Are MC and AMEX versions any better?

Do you still get just $20 or does it allow you to get $100 worth of HEB gift cards for getting a $500 denomination vanilla prepaid card?

$5.95 is the fee per card

Same fee but more spend on grocery multiplier card, especially if you have CFF 10% grocery SUB. That is easy $150 in UR per HEB account. 🙂

Just came back from my local store and the coupon is not working for Vanilla variables or even the $100 ones, it’s a problem on HEBs end
