Hilton Honors American Express Business Card 125,000 Point Offer + $100 Statement Credit

Update 9/15/20: Offer is still available via dummy link, can’t seem to get a direct link to work. When doing a booking you should see an offer in the bottom right corner for 75,000 points + $100 on the no annual fee card, click that. Then there is also an option for this 125,000 + $100 offer on the business card. Unfortunately not showing up for everybody. Hat tip to reader Parts Unknown

Update 12/27/19: Deal is available, this time with a direct link.

Update 6/26/19: Not sure if this deal ever went away, but it’s showing up again during dummy bookings.

The Offer

Direct link now available. Do a dummy booking to get the offer to show up. Will show up in the payment details section, you don’t need to complete the booking to get this bonus.

Our Verdict

Previous offers have been:

This is obviously better than the first offer. Second offer you save the $95 annual fee, but $50 statement credit less (so $45 difference really) and with this offer you get an extra 25,000 points. Because of that I’d say this is the best offer they have ever had on this card. Minimum spend is also only $3,000 this time vs $5,000 last time. Definitely worth considering if you’re in the market for some more Hilton points. As always before applying for any American Express cards, read this first. A lot of readers would have recently signed up for the 100k point + $50 statement credit AF waived offer, I doubt American Express will match the bonus but sometimes they will grant courtesy points. I doubt they will in this case due to the AF being waived, but might be worth a try.

I’m still able to pull up this offer *ONLY* through a logged in dummy booking, but I was denied. 3 credit cards and 3 charge cards.

Approved after removing “Pay Over Time” from a charge card, at the request of the CSR…

Approved for Hilton Biz 125k + $100 statement credit via dummy booking. Chrome/Firefox did not work likely due to too many ad blockers. Credit Card app popup showed on Microsoft Edge.
Had 4 Amex biz CC’s, 1 biz charge, and 1 personal charge at time of applicaiton

Applied didn’t receive popup however I did get:

“Your application is pending further review.

Your application has been received and will be processed as soon as possible. We will notify you of the decision by mail within 14 days.

Thank you for applying.”

Currently have 6 Amex cards total (1 charge + 5 credit cards):
Gold
Blue Business Plus
BCP
Bonvoy
Hilton Aspire
Hilton Honors NAF

Should I wait for letter/possible card or call recon? Does anyone have the correct phone # for Amex business recon?

I’m at LOL/24 and would rather not provide documents for my “business” (although I do have the Blue Business Plus card).

I am willing to cancel and close my BCP, originally applied in 2013, about 18 months ago accepted an upgrade offer from BCE to BCP, not current under any retention offers. I don’t use it enough to justify having it and paying AF.

Suggestions?

Received e-mail stating decision has been reached, logged in to link https://online.americanexpress.com/eaol/welcome.do which shows application status going back 3 years pretty cool.

Denied, no reason provided, hopefully it’s due to reaching 5 credit card limit. Will attempt to call recon and roll the dice.

Applied on the 17th. Got the 14 day message. Using the application status link was approved by the time I checked (5 minutes).

Called Amex business recon was connected to someone offshore, I offered to close 1 credit card if I’m approved for the Hilton Business card. They stated current Amex credit card limit is 4, so i would have to close 2 credit cards then they would CONSIDER my application, so there is no guaranteed approval. If I’m not approved, I’m unable to cancel the account closures.

Other than HUCA, any other suggestions/strategies I should consider?

I can’t get it to show. I tried Edge, Chrome, Chrome Incognito, signed into HHonors, not signed into HHonors. I suppose I could try all this again on a different computer. Or, maybe I should just give up and apply for the 130,000 points, with no statement credit?

Got declined. The second denial for the Hilton Business card. The first and last time I applied for the Hilton Business card was 1/18/2018, and that was denied. I can’t access the denial information for some reason.

I can’t get the offer to show on the Hilton site in either Chrome or Safari on a macbook. Tried expanding the window, full screen, etc.
