- Hilton honors is offering two offers on stays from January 1 through April 30, 2023
- Earn Double Points on every stay
- 1,000 Bonus Points each time you stay with a different brand within the Hilton portfolio.
The Fine Print
- Offer valid for stays completed January 1 – April 30, 2023 (“Promotion period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/DoubleUpAndExplore prior to completing a stay within the Promotion period.
- Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before January 1, 2023, will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after January 1, 2023, and prior to or on April 30, 2023.
- Registered Hilton Honors members will earn Double Points per stay during the Promotion period. “Double Points” means members will receive Bonus Points equal to the number of Base Points earned during a stay.
- Registered Hilton Honors members will earn an additional 1,000 Bonus Points each time they stay at a new brand within the Hilton portfolio during the Promotion period.
- There is no limit to the total number of Bonus Points that may be earned during the Promotion period with this offer.

It feels like double points is the new baseline. When was the last time Hilton wasn’t giving out double points? Not complaining about the extra points, but wondering if this will fuel inflation on redemption thresholds…

does hilton count reward/point stays for these promotions?
They have in the past for me provided I have some sort of bill.
You obviously can’t earn double points if you don’t earn any points to begin with, and if you don’t do any spend (paid to your room) on a reward/point stay, you don’t earn any points on that stay. But if, for example, you charge a meal or parking to your room, you do earn double points on that. (The double points only apply to base points, not to things like your elite status MyWay bonus.)
But when there’s another part of the promotion (like the 2000 bonus points per stay in the current promotion, or the 1000 points for each stay at a different brand in this next promotion), that part typically works on reward/point stays.
