It took many attempts to finally activate this. Even if already logged into my Hilton account, an additional login is required along with a code sent by email with a 10-minute expiration. About ten attempts at various times over two days were required before I received the code within 10 minutes – some never arrived at all. Finally got it done.

Will it work if I split my stay into single nights reservations?
You should have read the terms & conditions. They say: “ A ‘stay’ is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again. ”
So obviously you won’t get extra points no matter how many reservations it is, if they’re all consecutive at the same hotel.
And that’s the way a “stay” is defined at every hotel program, I’m pretty sure.
The link refers to the Double Points promo that runs through Sept.2, not Sept 3-Dec 31.
