- Hilton Grand Vacations (Hilton’s timeshare brand) is offering discount rates and points. As part of this deal you need to complete a two hour timeshare presentation and pitch. Deals are as follows (all included 100,000 Hilton points):
- Orlando: Hilton Orlando near SeaWorld® and The Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM or Hilton Lake Buena Vista near Disney Springs® and Epcot
- Las Vegas: Hilton Grand Vacations on the Boulevard at the north end of the Strip or Tropicana Las Vegas – a DoubleTree by Hilton at the south end
Our Verdict
More affordable than the recent Hawaii/NYC deals, but still more expensive than previous Las Vegas deals (although this is more points and nights). It’s also never a good idea to accept the initial offer, as you can usually get extras thrown in or the price reduced (I usually just call and say I’m interested but my partner needs more convincing to go and can they throw anything else in). Remember that nobody goes into these timeshare presentations wanting to buy a timeshare and the people working there are usually fantastic sellers so make sure to educate yourself first and stick to your guns when saying no during the presentation itself. If you are easily convinced I’d honestly recommend just not doing these types of deals.

Seems like a good deal, but these timeshare locations/hotels always seem so lame when I look more closely.
They let me book Hawaii instead, which I preferred, although it cost more.
Last time was a couple options hotel wise. We went for the Hilton Orlando, really liked it as it was quieter and also easy uber ride to many things
Anyone know what the age/income requirements are?
The price is per person, correct?
It’s not per person. There are four of us going and same price
Do they charge resort fees?
I called in, and the lady said they they will tack on resort fees when you check out if you had booked online. She said she could waive them if I booked it with her. Seemed kind of strange, but that’s what I ended up doing.
There is also a $99 additional charge if you arrive on a Friday or Saturday, so I booked to arrive on Thursday and stay through the weekend.
Last time you did not have resort fee it was all waved via the booking but calling them.
they told me resort fees are waived however parking fees wont be waived in orlando where i would be staying.
How flexible are they regarding the dates you book for the stay if you have specific dates available?
Ditto on this question, we have specific dates we want to go aswell. Do they honor the dates we specify as preferred dates?
I signed up for the previous offer in August 2019 $199 for Orlando 50k.

It expires in 1 year but getting time off from work will be difficult this year, how accommodating are they in extending the expiration? Or could I call and offer to pay the difference for this offer to extend the expiration. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
I just called yesterday and extended an offer that I bought in May (expires in May) all the way to December
If you want to get out of the presentation pretty quickly… I always tell them I am glad to be able to go on this vacation before I have to serve my sentence. They release me soon after, no questions asked.
My only issue with the Hilton offers is that they don’t explicitly spell out what the age/income eligibility requirements are on the front end like other companies do. Just a statement that they’ll charge you rack rate plus a premium if you don’t meet the qualifications or attend the presentation.
If they would clearly list what those criteria were, I’d be on this offer in a heartbeat.

Anyone know if you can fit 4 in a room with this deal?
Yes. Did that before
