Our Verdict
Works for new and previous customers. $1 lower than last year. Keep in mind this is an ad supporter plan. You need to sign up first and then go to the add on page to add Disney, not sure if everybody is eligible for the Disney deal or not.
As a reminder the promotional pricing expires later this month at which point you will be increased to the current pricing. Fingers crossed for a new black Friday promotion as has been the case for the past many years.
I created Hulu account after linking it through Topcashback. It has been 2 days, but my purchase has not yet tracked.
The $12 tracked after a day, triggering the extra $35 new member sign-up bonus. But the $12 shows it might not be “payable” for up to 14 weeks. Seems kinda odd.
Hi Matty,
Each merchant will have a different “Estimated Payable Speed” and for Hulu this payout timeframe is 14 weeks, although it can go payable sooner.
Best Wishes,
Dominique
Is it normal for the estimated timeframe not to update? Mine still says N/A under Recent Transactions or 14 weeks under Earnings but I did the offer over a month ago. Shouldn’t it say 10 weeks now and be updating each week? Other orders I placed are updating as each week goes by.
When I try to sign up, it shows the total due today as $7.99. Should it be showing as $.99? This account hasn’t been a subscriber in the last month.
Hi Lis,
If you weren’t able to take this deal, please send me an email to [email protected] so I can take a look into this.
Best Wishes,

I signed up for Hulu using the same login I currently have for Disney Plus (no ads). My D+ sub expires 12/5/23, and after sign-up, I did NOT see the option to add-on D+, presumably because I already have a sub. Any idea if I will be able to add D+ (with ads) after my current sub expires on 12/5?
Chatted with Hulu and they cancelled my D+ account, and I was then able to add on the $2/month ads version. They even gave me a pro-rated refund for the week I had left on my annual no-ads sub.
Any idea why the links don’t seem to be working? Have tried from the link above plus from the Hulu homepage and have tried from 2 different phones and from laptop. Some on WiFi some on cell signal. Buttons don’t work…
Hi There,
Were you able to get the links to work?
This has still not tracked for me after 48 hours. How long is this taking to track for people? Probably easier to sign up for another account than submit a ticket but do not want for it not to track again. Everything else has been tracking properly recently.
I charged the Hulu monthly fee to my US Bank Altitude Go card which earns a $15 credit for annual streaming service purchases.
“Put streaming service purchases on your U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Card for 11 consecutive months. An automatic $15 statement credit will be applied to your account within 2 statement billing cycles following 11 consecutive months of streaming service purchases.”
Important to note when using the US Bank card deal: you must have a recurring streaming charge in every single month for 11 months. There are DPs of people who signed up late in the month (29, 30 or 31) and their February charge did not hit their card until March 1, and therefore they did not have a February charge on their February statement and US Bank did not honor the deal. So if possible, be cautious to not sign up near the of a calendar month nor near/on your US Bank statement cycle date.
That’s a great stack! And I don’t think there’s a monthly minimum that has to be put on the card.
There is no minimum streaming charge. It’s a credit based only upon having 11 consecutive monthly charges. Several prior reddit DPs confirmed it.
Received confirmation email today (my statement date) from US Bank:
“Congrats! You’re on your way to a $15 credit.
Congrats! You used your U.S. Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature Card for a streaming purchase and earned 2X points. Keep using your card and you’ll earn a $15 statement credit!”
Any idea if what happens if you do the streaming on the Connect card and downgrade to the Go card? Connect has $30 credit but not enough to keep for the AF.
Data points on reddit show that you must have a recurring charge every single month, for 11 months, to get the $15 credit on Go card. However, I haven’t seen a DP specifically in a case of a downgrade. Looks like Connect also requires 11 consecutive calendar months of eligible streaming service purchases for the $30 credit. So if you downgrade at the Connect annual fee, you may not get the bonus at all on either card (but I have no idea). Maybe call and ask… if it’s worth it to spend time on a phone call.
Thanks for that info. I only did the Connect for the quick $500 bonus with my property taxes and noticed the credit for streaming. May just try it for fun, was gonna do this deal anyway.
Looking for guidance: I currently have a Disney+ annual plan that expires on 12/5/23. I don’t have a Hulu plan. If I sign up for this, do I add Disney+, or wait until after 12/5? Also, what happens to my current Disney+ sub? My Disney+ sign-in is the same for Hulu (can’t remember why I have that; must have tried to log in to Hulu to see if it worked for me.)
Does anyone know if Disney+ can be added on for the same $2 after the fact? I don’t want a full 12 months and figure if they’re together when I sign up, I can’t cancel Disney+ without cancelling Hulu.
Answered my own question so DP if anyone needs.
Can add Disney+ with ads for $2 after the fact. There’s also a second BF deal (exp 11/28) of adding Starz for 99¢ per month for 6 months.
