The Offer
- Hulu is offering a Black Friday special rate of $0.99 per month for up to 12 months. You can add Disney for $2
Our Verdict
Works for new and previous customers. Keep in mind both of these are for ad supported plans.
Was disappointed that I missed the $12 from TopCashback on 11/27, and was hoping they’d bring it back since I also have the 1,000 rewards points for 2 streaming service payments offer on my Elan card that I could use. I was checking daily since then, and it was back to $2, even this morning. However, I just checked now one last time, and it’s back to $12 until midnight Pacific time. Although, it looks like there are some reports of it not tracking, so we’ll see if it works…
Didn’t track yet, and I doubt it will since the folks who had successful tracking said it was within a few hours. I’m done with TCB. I used to have nearly 100% tracking success, but lately, it’s more fails than success. The only thing it’s good for is the gift cards that TCB itself offers.
I started with a clean profile in Chrome (so no previous history, cookies, plugins, etc.), logged into TCB, searched for Hulu, and clicked the offer specifically for the Black Friday deal. It looks like that’s where things went wrong. I saw a page where I had to select the $0.99 Hulu offer or the $2.99 bundle, but looking further back in this post, other folks were getting only the $0.99 offer. Looking at my browser history, I can see that I was first sent to a “…/redirect” URL on the TCB site, and the next entry shows that I was sent to a Hulu starting page for affiliates, but the “utm_source” parameter is set to “Rakuten”. Huh? Why did TopCashback send me to a page that’s apparently for clicks from Rakuten? This also explains why creating a ticket often results in the “not last referred click” denial.
I was annoyed by the excessive ads and was about to cancel, but then I found a chrome extension “Hulu Ad Skipper” which could not block the ads but could skip them in like 2 seconds.
The TCB was still not tracking though.
Great find !!! Will try it out.
I’ll never understand why people pay to watch ads
So you keep saying.
I pay to watch the bits between the ads.
Can you do both Disney+ and Starz with Hulu or does it have to one or the other? I signed up for Hulu with Disney+ for $2.99, but can’t figure out how to add Starz for an additional .99.
I was able to get Hulu & Disney+ bundle for $2.99 and Starz for additional $0.99. Once you sign up, go to your Account page and click “Manage Plan”. Scroll down until you see Starz add-on.
has TCB tracked for people? Signed up yesterday during $12 cashback, no confirmation yet
I signed up for hulu and nordvpn about the same time yesterday, nordvpn tracked almost immediately, but so far I don’t see any signs from Hulu
Same here, hasn’t tracked yet. Please post if you get an update
Yes, within a few hours.
My $12 TCB tracked almost immediately
Mine hasn’t tracked yet. Signed up 2 days ago.
I don’t even stream other than anime. I tried watching an episode and the ads were ridiculous. Probably 2 mins of ads before starting, and another set after the usual episode recap. Wasted 5 mins before the episode began. Back to Brave + anime website.
If you still have ads, it’s on you. An animal is the way….
“Log in to Hulu with your MyDisney account. If you don’t have one, you will be prompted to create one.” I do not have a MyDisney account, but after entering in my email, it did not prompt me to create one. Is anyone else having this issue?
I had the same issue. I am thinking that I must have had a MyDisney account at one time. I tried it in incognito mode and was able to create a new account.
I switched to an old email that signed up with Hulu years ago and it worked. But TCB hasn’t tracked yet.
If you did not create a new account, TCB may not work because it says “New Customer”.
I though “account expired more than one month ago” was eligible?
That’s for getting the $0.99/$2.99 deal.
I wasn’t able to add the $2.99 to a canceled account but got the .99 cent via TopCashBack. The TopCashBack link doesn’t show the 2.99 offer with the .99 cents offer. ughhhhh
Is there anything on Starz that’s worth $1 per month? Serious question.
Starz has many original shows, including:
The Serpent Queen: A show about the life of Catherine de’Medici, a powerful and manipulative queen who lived in the French royal court
Outlander: An award-winning series
P-Valley: A popular series
Heels: A popular series
Gaslit: A popular series
BMF: A popular series
Black Sails: A popular series
Power: A popular series
Starz also has other original shows, including:
Fat Joe Talks
The Couple Next Door
Spartacus
Mary & George
Power Book II: Ghost
Power Book IV: Force
Power Book III: Raising Kanan

Now ask ChatGPT if there will be a ChatGPT discount for BF.
None of these sound interesting to me. I’ve only seen Outlander (it sucks).
Serpent Queen was decent. Gaslit was pretty good too.
It’s worth 50 cent…
I guess with diznee I’d be payin bout tree fiddy
Lochness Monster is on Max.
Can you add max into this? It was possible last year.
Yes.
Went through TopCashBack for this. I got Hulu and paid 0.99. As it took me through the account setup, I added Starz (also 0.99/m for 12 months). YMMV, but TCB is now showing they tracked separately for $12 x 2 back.
