[Expired] Hulu New Users: 50% Off ($2.99 Per Month) For First Six Months On Ad Supported Plan

Deal has expired, view more Hulu deals by clicking here.

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • New users to Hulu can get 50% off their first six months, making it $2.99 per month

The Fine Print

  • $2.99/month for 6 months, then $5.99/month.
  • Offer ends at 11:59 PM PST on 9/3/19.

Our Verdict

Keep in mind you can get this version for free with Spotify Premium and Disney+ will offer a bundle with the ad supported version as well. Personally I don’t find much value in the ad supported plan, but it is cheaper than normal and I guess if you only want Hulu it’ll make sense.

DP/Early 2019: When using a desktop with uBlock Orgins installed it will skip the ads. You see a less than 5 second black screen and than the show is back on.

I am pretty sure there is some VPN/router level voodoo that can be done to allow the same thing on other screens.

This plan doesn’t come with live TV. More like Netflix, but with modest commercial breaks for a fraction of the cost.

I got the black Friday deal for the ad plan for $0.99 a month. Honestly, that pricing seems about right to me. There is a lot of ad time on this plan. I don’t think I’d pay $3 a month for it and certainly not $6.

agreed $1 is the right price for that service. Once that deal is up i’m cancelling.

Check your Swagbucks inbox, I see one for 3500 ($35) that is good for 3 more days. That is a better deal as you would basically get it free of you keep for six months or make money if you cancel after two to five months.
