What I really want is a special student discount for HBO Max

I tried Hulu with ads before and the length of each ad was just atrocious, with multiple ads in between.

on the plus side, Peacock’s ads are quite tolerable

Maybe I’m just frugal, but I can think of better things for a college student to spend $2 on each month.

When I was a college student, Hulu was still free. But now that I’m a paying subscriber, I barely use Hulu.

oh, c’mon! real skinflints know – you can chew a single piece of gum for a month! $2 will get you a whole year!

I’m an adult and there’s better things to spend $2 on a month. I literally think ad supported is a negative experience, we got the 1-year deal for $2 a month sometime last year, cancelled within the first month. It was painful relative to Netflix.

This is more of being cheap than frugal.
