The Offer
- Hyatt is offering a new Bonus Journeys promotion. Register by March 15, then complete qualifying activity between January 15 and April 20, 2022. Bonuses are as follows:
- All members: Every 2 qualifying nights earn 2,022 bonus points
- Chase Hyatt cardholders: Each stay earn 1,000 bonus points
Our Verdict
Always a good idea to enroll in these promotions even if you don’t have any stays planned just in case you forget.
Does it have to be two consecutive nights? If I stay one night in Boston on Feb 1st and and one night in New York on March 1st, will I get the 2022 points for that?
6. Do eligible nights during the promotion period have to be consecutive in order to earn the point bonus?
Eligible nights do not need to be consecutive to qualify for earning Bonus Points. However, for purposes of the World of Hyatt Consumer and Business Credit Card Bonus offer, consecutive nights at the same hotel constitute one stay (even if you check out and check back in).

Will I meet Aladdin tomorrow?
Whoa 1000 nights. Do they roll over? How many years can I get globalist from the promo?
It’s 1000 points lol
Still waiting for those 1000 nights to hit my Hyatt account
Note the extra 1000 points for card holders is only good in 10 US cities. Not too useful for most I think.
Agreed. The credit card portion of this promo is fairly useless.
You may want to clarify that it’s not all card holder stays. Just those 10 listed cities.
Crazy typo in the headline:
The text and the pictures say cardholders earn 1,000 bonus POINTS for each stay, but the headline (and the URL) say it’s 1,000 NIGHTS!
Hyatt Bonus Journeys 2022: Earn 2,022 Every 2 Nights + 1,000 Nights For Chase Hyatt Cardholders
It would really be wild if you could actually earn 1,000 night credits for each stay!!!!! That might make it a lifetime status promo in another program!!! (In the Hilton program, achieving lifetime Diamond with nights requires 1000 night credits. But Hyatt lifetime Globalist uses doesn’t allow nights to be used, only points. So 1000 night credits wouldn’t help toward lifetime status at Hyatt.)
Of course, another way to read it is a bit more negative: If you read is a 1,000 applying to the word “every”, that would mean that Chase Hyatt Cardholders would get a raw deal, earning 2,022 Every 1,002 Nights (ie, Every 2 Nights + 1,000 Nights). I doubt many people could stay 1,002 Nights during the time of the promo!
Lol fixed
I already have a few stays booked for mid-February 2022. Is there anything I need to do in order to ensure these stays count? I am assuming no, but just want to confirm.
No just make sure you are registered
