Our Verdict

Nice thing about this promotion is that award nights do qualify. They also have a nice F.A.Q that should answer any questions you have. Hyatt points are one of the more valuable hotel currencies in my opinion, that being said at 1¢ per point this is only a $10 bonus. Even if we double it, it’s still only $20. I’ll definitely be registering for this promotion, but rewards of this size are rarely enough to get me to change my booking behaviors (whereas promotions like the one from Wyndham are).

Doc,

You are the best in the business! Saw your post as I was settling into my room at the Hyatt regency Osaka, 4 night stay all points…am I right to presume that even tho I booked this months ago and activated the offer during my stay, that I’d get 4,000 bonus points??

If so That’s rock solid value for an 8k/night redemption, with my regency club and king room upgrade this is turning into a stay stuffed with value to the maximum. Is there such a thing as ‘too much value’ lol??

The nights from Chase Certificates should count as well, right? It should be also treated like free night award, right?
