Ibotta Offering $20 Amazon Giftcard For Amazon Prime Membership

Update 11/14/18: Offer is still around. Seems that even some of those who have done this deal in the past (myself included) have now reset and can do the deal again. Remember, this only works for new memberships, so you’ll have to cancel, let expire, and then signup again to get this deal. (HT to reader john doe)

Our Verdict

If you want to save money on Amazon, I’d recommend reading our detailed guide here. There is a targeted Amex offer for 2,000 points when you spend $50+ currently as well.

Other Amazon Prime Deals:

If you don’t already have an Ibotta account, you can use my referral link, and you’ll get $10 for joining (I’ll also receive $5 and a bonus $15 if I refer three people). Appreciate you using my link if you do decide to sign up.

is it possible to sign up for the amazon free trial via ibottas/mrrebates/giving assistants link and then cancel before they charge you for the next month and get the 20 dollars for signing up?

I could be wrong, haven’t tried it myself, but I read “Get a $20 Amazon gift card from Ibotta when you subscribe to Amazon Prime for a full year.” to mean that the offer requires you to pay the whole Prime annual fee to receive the gift card.

Can confirm this works. Bought a “gift” Prime subscription with my already-Prime account a couple days ago. Got my Ibotta “you got a gift card” notice today!

So does cancelling your membership and purchasing a new one through the ibotta app count as “new?” If so, how long does the membership need to be cancelled before it can be purchased?

Make sure you check Ibotta for the membership deal. It’s still live today. Love in Christ.

I was on the fence about Prime, and just happened to have signed up for Ibotta a few days ago,
so I went for this deal. Haven’t been credited yet, of course.

(Signed up for Ibotta through a referral link on this site–thanks Amy, whoever you are!)
