Our Verdict
Previously this bonus has been as high as $150 with basically the same requirements. Might be worth waiting for that bonus to return. Even so I’ll add this to the best bank account bonuses.

William Charles Chuck New GESA offer can be found here https://www.gesa.com/promotions/checking-offer/
It’s $200 for eStatements + 10 debit transactions and an additional $100 when you keep the account open for a year
I’m holding out for the big bucks: $150
I got declined for Chex (apparently). 6/12, 12/24, 27/36.
But what’s really messed up is Gesa pulled Chex 3 times! Twice on the same day! I think I’ll call them just to ask what the hell is up with that and maybe get two removed? I mean who does that?!?
FUCKKKKKKK! They ended the promotion! I had the page ready to go a few hours ago, and now they’ve removed it!
THOSE BASTARDS!
Huh, ok false alarm. Now the bonus is back up. Must have been a maintenance thing.
BlissfulApathy are you enjoying the GESA account?
Paid 1 day after completing all the requirements.
Constantino Cleopatra did you do the “Remote Deposit Capture”? I don’t have any checks and wondering if I really need to do it or not.
Oh ya, I’m sure you don’t have to complete one of the requirements even though it says remote deposit is required. I’m positive they’ll make an exception for ya! For sure! Absolutely!
alot of requirements for a $100 bonus
Anyone has DP on credit card funding? The post’s link show no DP available, the $5000 is for Greater Nevada Credit Union, not this one.
Mary read the comments here, actually seems to be up to 10k:

Thanks much for the link, hope still valid. That alone worth $100-200.
5k of BofA Travel Rewards worked for me a couple of months ago. Taking advantage of the 0% APR now.
MBB you didn’t get a cash advance fee?
No CA fee. I had my Cash Advance limit reduced to $600 on the card just in case. I moved my credit lines around to make this my highest limit card, then opened and funded GESA, Great Southern, Redstone, and Rivermark all with this card. Ended up with 1.5% cash back on 16k with 0% APR for a year.
The limit is $5k. I tried more and they called me telling me the limit was $5k.
It seems like there are no downsides for going for this bonus? Unless someone else sees on? I see ACH only.. no hard pull.. and not CHEX sensitive? It seems like an extremely easy $100? I’m in western Oregon so seems like I automatically qualify to open it? Someone let me know if I’m wrong or miss seeing something.
Confirmed, no HP. I was approved with Chex at 4/1, 7/6, and 11/12. Select OR counties qualify, see https://www.gesa.com/about/membership
They’ve had this promo for a few months. Here are my DPs from a couple of months ago.
5/12 – Acct Opened
5/26 – $251 ACH from another CU
5/27 – 10th Debit card transaction completed (Amazon reloads count)
5/28 – $100 received as “Descriptive Deposit CHECKING INCENTIVE”
Taco Whisky I was declined for chex on their last promotion but I was lol/24. Try it out
Daedalus – are you still maintaining the paypal autopay subscription links for debit card transactions? The ones that I have from you no longer work.
$300 on similar terms? No direct deposit req?
Thanks much, I might just take a chance to wait a while.
