It has to be cash stay to get points right? Award won’t work.
This promo ends on 11/30/24, so on 12/1 make sure to change your preferences back to earning IHG points on IHG stays.

Instead of ihg miles
I got the same ‘please try again’ error but about 20 minutes later got an email that my earning preferences had been updated to TrueBlue, so this seems to be in lieu of IHG points rather than in addition.
Got the same so I went back and read the terms. They do state that you are switching your earnings preference to TrueBlue points.
When trying to register, I currently get this error:
Sorry, please try again. If the problem persists, please contact Customer Care for assistance.
Me too. Although I just got an email that says:
Your IHG One Rewards earning preference has been successfully changed.
Earning preference: JETBLUE | TRUEBLUE
Sure sounds like I’m not earning IHG points anymore.
