IHG PointsBreak List Now Available & Bookable

The latest IHG PointsBreak list is now live and bookable for bookings through January 31st, 2020. Properties cost either 5,000, 10,000 or 15,000 points per night. Intercontinental properties:

  • InterContinental Costa Rica at Multiplaza Mall
  • InterContinental Cartagena De Indias
  • InterContinental Nairobi
  • InterContinental Johannesburg Sandton Towers

It seems like the lists are getting worse and worse even with the increased pricing of 10,000 and 15,000 points. Please share any particularly good value properties in the comments below.

Thank you! I had already booked the Holiday Inn & Suites Philadelphia W – Drexel Hill for 20,000 points and cancelled & re-booked for 10,000 🙂

Wow. 5 US hotels on the 5k list. In slow season for tons of markets. What a joke.

Took a deep dive into the list. Nothing super appealing to me.

Candlewood Suites San Antonio N for 5k could be useful for vacation combined with Candlewood Suites Austin North for 10k. Neither are in particularly great areas but short drives away from the city center.

And if anyone was lucky enough to get in on the 6k AA award routes in January to New Zealand, there’s a couple hotels that represent good value.

Just booked the HK one at 10k. If you pay with points/cash you can buy points at a rate of 5000 for 30 bucks.
