Our Verdict
Ikea doesn’t often have discounts, good idea to stock up when you can. Stacks well with the Chase Offer for 10% cash back. Note, some have reported that the in-store offer isn’t working properly while others are not having any issues.
All my Ikea Chase offers expired. Thanks Chase!
Ikea prices are too high for mass-produced particle board.
They still have some natural wood stuff. Their prices are good when you compare to other stores like HD, Lowes. I have had their kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, etc. all made from particle wood for many years and they are still good as new. MDF (medium density fiberboard) is actually quite strong.
This deal sounds better than it is. IKEA used to offer IKEA family members 5% off in store purchases EVERY day, then they nurfed that, and promote this 10% off “sale”. Blah. So basically this “sale” you’re just getting 5% off now, and only if you spend at least $150. Lame.
This worked fine for me in store yesterday. Bought a variety of crap for my daughter’s room.
