- Referring member and those they refer who open a new member account relationship with Advia Credit Union (not previously a member of Advia Credit Union) and follow instructions provided within this referral program to indicate qualifying new member referral will each earn stated payout(s) when new member opens and maintains one or more of the following qualifying Advantage Relationship(s) stated within ninety (90) days of new account opening: (1) $50 when the new member reaches Advantage Plus Rewards status. See adviacu.org/advantageplus for qualifications; and/or (2) $50 when the new member accrues new aggregate deposits held of $10,000 or more; and/or (3) $100 when the new member obtains aggregate Personal Loans of $5,000 or more (combined outstanding balances held in Auto/RV Loan or Signature Loan).

Our Verdict
It’s nice that there is no direct deposit required, but it’s unclear how long the $5,000 deposit needs to be in the account. If there is no time frame then this seems like a great deal. Please share your experiences in the comments below.

Advia bought out the small town credit union where I had a savings account since birth, and they went from being member-focused to 100% profit focused with a “big bank” feel. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t pay out the bonus without a fight, and I’d stay far away after you get a payout, if you ever do.
