Our Verdict
Looks like you only need to tie up funds for one month to trigger the bonus if that’s true then this is a very good return and worth doing. APYs are:
- $10,000: 25.29%
- All other tiers: 19.82%
Assuming a 40 day hold period. We will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.

Yes, seems they did pull it William Charles
moving my balance out of my account today! held it there all of july which was my third month. hope the bonus pays out soon. anyone else?
yea, how are you moving out the funds? theyre giving me a hard time about ach…
my $2k bonus paid out a few days ago! held 100k for all of july. very pleased
Reminder for those that opened their accounts in April, about making and maintaining the $100k deposit for July ’23.
Going to reach out to customer service, but want to check here before contacting them. I know they may not be friendly to out-of-state businesses, but will they shut down a business account if I sign up as an Illinois resident but move out of state a short time after?
Anyone have any experience with this?
Just an update – I did reach out to support shortly after commenting and the banker who fielded my questions confirmed that moving after opening the account is not an issue for bonus eligibility.
opened after a day of waiting, lol/48. single member llc w ein.
William Charles Opened the account as sole prop with DL and SS card after going back and forth with a banker. No need for any aditional business documents.
CSR also indicated the month evaluated for bonus qualification is the third full calender month after opening. So if opened in April, they would look at the average balance of the period from July 1st to 31st.

What did “going back and forth” make you do?
Yj32 Clarified I was a sole prop with SSN, banker told me which docs were needed, etc.
Thanks!! Wagner
they will not accept any business accounts outside of Illinios.Personal accounts they do,but they said they dont fit the compliance standards yet for out of state yet.
DP Opened account today and I have email from bank stating July is 3rd month and they will average that month. At first bank said average over 3 month but then came back to clarify its the 3rd month and April is only partial. Saving all the email correspondence.
would you be willing to put up a screenshot of what they said? I asked them if it was June and they said yes, so now I’m unsure (also opened in April)
Where does it say that the bonus amount will be determined based on average balance in the third month? I’m seeing no third month mention on the offer page. Just makes it sound like you have to maintain the average balance the entire time. Not clear really…
At the very bottom of the page, it reads:
“In the third month following account opening, maintain an average monthly balance of $10,000 to receive $250 bonus; $25,000 to receive $500 bonus; $50,000 to receive $1,000 bonus; $100,000 to receive $2,000 bonus.”
It’s not the best-written T&C I’ve read, but it seems it is just the third month that a balance is needed. I’ve messaged the bank to confirm + to clarify whether it’s the third month from account opening (i.e., June if opened in April) or the third full month from account opening (July). Think it’s the former but the terms are pretty bare-bones.
i spoke to a banker. got confirmed in writing its the 3rd full month after opening (open anytime in march then in the entirety of june the balance is need for bonus.)
