Our Verdict
Same as the $200 offer available online, this is just an extra $50 when applying in branch. Definitely worth doing if you were already considering the $200 offer. Will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses. For more details on this offer I’d recommend reading the original $200 offer post.

Has anyone encountered this offer in a branch recently? Still valid?
I just called my branch and they said they don’t offer the $250 bonus anymore 🙁
Offer is still valid in branch.
$250 signup bonus for Freedom Unlimited still works, had to try two different branches before someone could properly help me. The first branch was busy and I had no appiontment. Very little info on this bonus online so I was not sure if still available
Where offers the information for new CFF card about 5% cash back on grocery store purchases (not including Target® or Walmart® purchases) on up to $12,000 spent in the first year?
Is this offer still valid? Thinking about dropping by my local Chase branch to see if this offer is available.
I also got this $250 in-branch offer. It seemed my banker did not have any clues on this special offer, but she was nice to help me locate it.
If you get this card, check after your first month to make sure you actually got the grocery bonus. Along with others, I got screwed out of the advertised grocery bonus on the Freedom last year. Customer service provided no explanation and wouldn’t budge.
Did you apply in-branch which included the grocery bonus offer?
I applied online, but it advertised the grocery bonus at the application link. I hadn’t even known about it before that. I’ve seen posts from other people who had similar experiences.
Any inside info on how long the 5% grocery bonus will last for new sign ups? My P2 will be 4/24 end up Sep.
does freedom and freedom flex have different categories quarterly?
No
Is this CARD 24/5 restricted? I’ll raise hell if they say “You have opened cards in the past 3 months!” … but I will just be quiet and smile (and adjust my summer hat) if they say “you’re pre-approved for 2 cards today!” LOL
Of course
5/24 is a Chase policy so any Chase credit card is subject to 5/24.
