Our Verdict
Previously best offer was a $200 bonus. Bit annoying to keep the $450 bonus account keep fee free, but worst case scenario you can just do the $300 bonus instead. We will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.

Not sure why. My chex score is 682
anyone else just hit with a $3 “service charge” fee? wth with this bank
Someone mentioned below there is a $3 fee for not enrolling in e-statement and had it reversed. I would call the bank.
Thom
thanks I did and caveat emptor: just because you selected “eStatements” under “eStatement preferences” will NOT do it…which is aggravating. You have to click on an actual eStatement and then go through a process which will enroll you for real. super misleading.
Got hit with a $15 service fee, despite my $5k balance. This is so frustrating.
2/4: Opened account with $500 funded by BOA PR card
2/19: First real DD hits, roughly $2k, balance now $2.5k
3/5: Second real DD hits, roughly $2k, balance now $4.5k
3/19: Third real DD hits, roughly $2k, balance now $6.5k
3/20: Transfer out $1.5k, keeping balance above $5k.
4/2: Fourth real DD hits, roughly $2k, balance now $7k
4/3: Transfer out $2k, keeping balance above $5k
4/10: $15 service fee
Since the only requirement for the bonus is to deposit $3.5k/month, my plan was to just skim off the top whatever is over $5k back into my real checking account, keeping enough in the account to avoid the fee. However, it looks like since I took my time getting to the $5k balance, it counted my 3/10 – 4/10 period as having below $5k, since technically I didn’t climb over $5k until 3/19. It’s crazy that I don’t even get 2 statement grace periods. A part of me wants to just pull my money out now besides $31 to cover the next two fees. At least my $5k will earn interest back at my main bank.
If you use the referral links in the comments can you still get the 650 bonus?
Yes Jaime!
Applied and was approved after 2 days,
Hey, was anyone able to find the fee disclosures on the website? I don’t open accounts with places that don’t disclose their fees. If I don’t know their fees, I can’t avoid them.

I found that but the fee schedule isn’t in there.
Does anyone know if Capital One push will work as a direct deposit for this bonus? This used to work all the time for me, now it no longer works for Truist or Chase bonuses. I am wondering if this will work for ON?
Applied online a couple of weeks ago, couldn’t be processed because “unable to verify identity.” Walked into a branch today and one of the bankers opened an Everyday checking account for me without any fuss – I was worried after reading about the Chex sensitivity since although I’m only at 2/12, my Chex score is pretty low at 679.
In branch is still sensitive. My banker printed out a Notice of Action Taken showed that I was automatically denied by their system. But she decided to ask a manager to override it because she did not see anything wrong.
Accidentally applied with Chex locked. Got “We were unable to verify your identity or other personal information at this time.” but this was after entering my CC funding info, choosing a username/password, etc. Should I try again with Chex unlocked?
Depends on what your Chex history is. Anything except very low Chex numbers will be denied. Search thru the comments here for Chex and you’ll get an idea how sensitive they are.
