Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
This account has no monthly fees to worry about
Early Account Termination Fee
I was unable to find the fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is any EATF.
Our Verdict
Looks like you need a checking account open to be eligible for this account otherwise it’ll be converted to another type of savings account. In the past they have offered a $150 checking bonus, so this might be worth considering for people that already have that account open otherwise I’d just give this one a miss.

$250 in credit card funding to join the credit union
“To open an Emergency Savings Account with us, stop by a branch or contact us.” Emailed them asking if there is a way to open online. For eligibility, I would try donating to one of the churches eligible in the SEGs.
Can open by phone. “Unfortunately emergency savings accounts can’t be opened online, however you can call into the contact center and a representative can set one up for you that way.
That number 765-497-3328.”
