Our Verdict
All the offers are worse than the recently increased offers. Because of that we won’t be adding these to our best credit card bonus page.
Received an email offer for Delta Gold 70k points after $3000 spending. Do not see the life time language in the email.

Got the worst luck ever. Applied literally on Jun 6 to get the card before my Jun 15th flight, and I’m sure the bonus changed about 8 days ago so technically I could have applied for the higher bonus if I just waited few more days (i think literally 2-3 days after i applied). Gold Business to be precise. I was able to save on checked baggage fee on my flight so yeah, that definitely helped, but 20k extra points would have been real nice for the extra $1 spend.
I called Amex for a match, they refused.

The referral offer on my Delta Reserve just increased from 7.5k in SkyMiles to 20k in SkyMiles.
Same for spouse on Delta Platinum. I was able to get the Hilton last week with the no pop-up link, but every time I try for the Delta Gold with referral or without–no bonus.

Try making a dummy booking and I got the following offers as well:
Delta Gold – Earn A $300 Statement Credit And 40,000 Bonus Miles*
Delta Platinum – Earn A $400 Statement Credit And 60,000 Bonus Miles*
I believe this could vary and someone else could have an increased offer than this.
How did you manage to get the platinum to pop up, I’m only seeing gold.
I already have a Gold card, maybe thats why I was able to see Platinum offer when not using an incognito session.

LOL. I got a couple of Delta Amex cards back in 2020 and earned about 150K points. I’ve flown about 3 flights with them since then (including NY-FLL) and have about 110K points left. It’s very difficult to find a good awards deal with Delta.
The golden age of points and miles appears to be over, with the constant devaluations and difficulty in finding decent awards. With high interest rates, cash back rewards is the way to go.
Not really true. I’ve found great deals on several airlines–34K round trip on Air France to Paris using Amex. Still some great Hyatt awards such as 9K for London and 9500 for a suite in Dubai. I have upcoming award flights on AA for 60K round trip to Europe in Sept. and 45K in November. I frequently use Iberia to Spain for about 30K Avios round trip. And even though some airlines are raising the cost of award flights, the credit cards are frequently offering highest ever bonuses to offset that.
LGA MIA round trip on Delta goes under $250 according to Google, so that 100k miles is literally 4 round trips.
lol… actually skypesos are pretty good for domestic economy trips and these cards are even giving 15% off reward flights now
