Our Verdict

Not nearly as good as the 100,000 point offers. But we haven’t seen that for a year, so the bonus on the Earner+ might be worth considering if you have a short term need for points. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

Anyone knows when these offers end?

DP: I have had Earner+ since April 2024 & just approved for no-fee Earner today. So this says you can have both versions of personal cards.

Anyone have luck churning these? Specifically the Earner Plus card?

I have an existing Wyndham account – and entered the number when I applied – but they still gave me a new one anyway after I got approved. How do I fix this?

You probably have to contact both Barclays first, and Wyndham later, presumably by phone, to get it totally fixed.

What I mean by “totally” is that there will likely be two errors soon: One is that the card is sending your points to a new account, the second is that once that is fixed, the two accounts on the Wyndham side need to be merged into one account, unless the first error is somehow fixed before they ever send anything from Barclays to Wyndham.

I’ve heard of this happening before on FlyerTalk, which has a separate discussion forum just for Wyndham Rewards, and that’s what people said had to be done there.

Thanks. La Quinta, with a reasonable pet fee and breakfast included, is a decent pick when traveling with a dog.

If I just the bonus last week, do you think I can get the upgraded bonus if I call in? I know Chase does this.

What can you redeem the points for? Can you redeem for statement credit or cash?

I stayed at a nice Wyndham resort in Algarve Portugal last summer. Also used points at cottage.com for a place in UK which worked out nicely.
I still don’t know why they require such a high spending for their business card.

Business card benefits are better than personal card benefits though for same $95 annual fee.

Every time the biz card bonus goes up I go on the Wyndham site and do a search of random locations to see what 75k could get me – it’s not much…

I don’t see the appeal now that Vacasa has been nerfed numerous times and the Caesar’s match is dead. Truly curious if anyone still has an angle on this one.

Vacasa is the only angle. Yes, even after numerous nerfs.

Disagree. I just booked 3 nights at an all inclusive in Cancun Christmas week, 91,000 points for a $2,700 stay.

Pretty much everybody was getting this for the Caesar’s status and that is gone now. Oh Vacasa you say? That has been devalued too. As somebody who likes the typical Wyndham cheapie places over “aspirational” stays I still don’t get much value. When a hotel is available at 15k, I usually find it and book it for under $100. So for my use case it isn’t even 1cpp.

Well it was a great run.
