For some time there has been an issue with the bonus from the Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card. Users that signed up for the 100,000 bonus (now expired) have reported receiving the first tier of the bonus and receiving 45,000 points (this should have been 50,000 points).
We reached out to both Wyndham & Barclays to inform them of this issue some time ago and finally Barclays has acknowledged the issue and stated that this has since been rectified and they are currently in the process of adding missing points to any impacted customers and expect this to be business by the end of the day tomorrow. Thank you to the team at Wyndham for helping us sort this mess out.
Five days later still no missing points. Their IT is as bad as their ID verification.
Do you have any good source at Barclays to help resolve these issues? My 50k for the second threshold has not posted after two statements. Nothing is showing pending. It took around eight weeks to get the additional 5k after they posted 45k for the first threshold. I can’t get anywhere with the customer service team on the second 50k.

I’m still trying to figure out who to talk to get my 6x points for staying at a Viva Wyndham property. My main charge posted as a “SCHOOLS & EDUCATION” charge with incidentals posting as “TIMESHARES”. Lots of finger pointing going around.
Odd, I got the full 50k on 7/9 but it was in 2 transactions: 22,500 + 27,500, both labeled “Barclays Activation Bonus”.

It seems they “fixed” the issue by decreasing the bonus to 45k, the same amount that their systems automatically give out.
What do you think are the chances that this is the only “fix” they made, and that folks still within the $100k deal will have to fight for the extra 5k+5k of their points, just the same?
This happened to me. Wyndham told me I had to contact Barclays to fix it. I talked to Barclays customer service about a month after hitting MSR and they said the missing points would post within 4 weeks. I followed up after 6 weeks and they added the additional 5k.
Fingers crossed they don’t screw up the next 50k. Not holding my breath.

I have issue with this shit-company linking my account to my Wyndham rewards that I entered on sign-up page. I have wasted 5+ hours on the phone now and all they can tell me is to wait 30 days. Of course 30 days from approval nothing is fixed and these clowns are still saying to wait 30 days or call Wyndham and do their job for them. Calling Wyndham is also pointless as they say they can’t do anything.
What I learned from this: NEVER enter your Wyndham number when signing up for this card. Let them issue you a new Wyndham member number and then merge with your existing one.
Having the same issue. Entered rewards number on application. When I received credit card there was no rewards number printed and the app said not enrolled. Called Barclays to link and they said it would be 30 days. No idea where my points are going and no status upgrade with card. Frustrating.
