Update 11/25/24: Autoposting to X/Twitter should now be working again.
A few readers have reached out asking why posts aren’t getting automatically pushed onto Twitter anymore. Unfortunately the autoposter we use (dlvr.it) limits you to 50 posts per month after X updated the API pricing, there is no solution to pay more currently to fix this issue. I’m hopeful they will come up with a solution as I know a lot of readers keep in touch with the site via X. If anybody knows of other solutions let us know.
Additionally we have created a BlueSky account (drofcredit.bsky.social) and we’ve enabled auto posting on there to push articles. I know people love to discuss the politics of both platforms but I don’t think discussing that here really serves any purpose so keep those opinions to yourself. If the commentary on this post devolves in political talk we will close the comments.
We should use DoC’s links as much as possible so that they can make enough to host the website
I see you on my x feed now!
Any plans for the doctorofcredit subreddit?
https://www.reddit.com/r/doctorofcredit/
And how about the YouTube channel?

Not currently
Would you consider auto posting to Threads too?
Sure why not
Followed you on Bluesky but not getting any notification and notifications are enabled?
Twitter is toxic!
Why do you say that? I really like it.
I left when the ads seemed nonstop which was 5 years ago. Got on Facebook the other day and it’s even worse.
Could not imagine the wrong turns I’d have to make in life to create a Blueksy
What awful turns would you have to make to create a Twitter account? jjwin
Am I the only one that had never heard of BlueSky before reading this article?
It’s hot and new
Hope Elon doesn’t buy it and name it BlueX
It’s the much smaller alternative to Twitter that was created, I believe, by the founder of Twitter. The reason it’s the new hotness is because as Elon Musk has been increasingly connected, rightly or wrongly, to the political right in the US and by extension, Donald Trump, the left leaning media outlets have aggressively pushed daily (or more) articles about Bluesky as an alternative to Musk’s Twitter along with tutorials on how to switch. Bluesky saw a surge after Musk purchased Twitter and of course has seen another one post US election, aided significantly by media augmentation and assistance, so this would likely be the reason you haven’t heard of it until very recently. Not a political statement of any sort, just a recap of the history and why you would likely think it’s a brand new thing you haven’t seen before.
You could set your Bluesky handle to doctorofcredit.com.
Thanks, I’ll set this up soon!
Just a note: unfortunately when you change your handle, your old one won’t redirect… you won’t lose followers, but you’ll have to update any links (such as the one in this post).
Good to know
Yes hopefully DOC can post everywhere
Political Bias of X is laughable since you can follow whoever you want. If you don’t want to see the political portion of X then only follow non political people/companies.
I follow a bunch of economic people and my favorite sports team. Outside of 1 month of the year and a few days here and there it is non political.
If you need your DOC fix then just visit this site daily or weekly.
That’s actually a joke. Anyone who’s used twitter now knows it’s plastered with Elon spam and right wing trolls everywhere, regardless of who you follow.
I agree with Don.
Or maybe there’s more centrist and right wingers in the world than you thought?
Hence why the election went the way it did… 👌🏻
Thank you, Adolf.
So, there were more Democrats during the 2020 election? That’s not how any of this works.
Or use RSS (Yes, some of us dinosaurs still exist!)
OR there’s the Doctor of Credit Daily Update via old fashion email ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yes! Just scroll all the way to the bottom of this post, or any post, and enter your email where it reads “Get A Once A Day E-mail With All Our Posts”
Problem with this is it’s not instant, so you miss out on a lot of stuff that is only valid for a few hours or a day. But it’s a good solution for some!
I currently use the RSS feed to receive notification when a new article is posted. However, that is delayed by up to an hour.
Is there a way that you can set up an instant email alert when a new article is posted? I am sure that I am not the only one that would find that very useful.
Yeah looks like I can set this up, will add it to the to do list.
The vast majority of content on DoC is still useful after 24hrs. I follow DoC via RSS, and I browse the articles after work. I don’t recall having missed anything (that matters to me) with this approach.
I don’t disagree, just saying some people don’t like it for this reason
