JetBlue Premier Card Details Leaked ($499 Annual Fee, $300 Credit)

(Card is now live with signup bonus, details here)

The new JetBlue Premier Card details were briefly on the JetBlue website earlier today. Details are as follows:

  • $499 annual fee ($150 for authorized cardholders)
  • $300 credit for Paisly purchases
  • Priority Pass select
  • Up to $300 in statement credit per calendar year on Paisly purchases
  • Card earns 6x points on JetBlue & Paisly purchases
  • Group A boarding
  • Free checked bag

Our Verdict

I suspect this will also come with JetBlue lounge access when those lounges open. You should be able to double triple (maybe even triple dip) the Paisley credit and only pay one annual fee. Overall the card seems very average but if the sign up bonus is high enough it could make sense to get the card. Keeping it long term doesn’t seem to make any sense in it’s current form though.

What underwhelming perk/benefits. Especially with that AF. Shouldn’t be surprised. It’s Barclays after all. The SUB is meh, I’ll pass.

Unfortunately, there’s also some lifetime language in there… sign-up bonus not available to people who have or have had the JetBlue Plus Card.

Wow. If that’s the case, then this product is a complete dud. DOA.

It’s live now at jetBlue and Barclay’s websites. As Mark said below, it’s only a 70K bonus after $5,000, which is super lame. Even the jetBlue Plus card had 100K bonuses at different points. The only benefits over the jetBlue Plus card are Group A boarding and $300 Paisely credit. Nothing about jetBlue lounges (yet) because they aren’t open, just Priority Pass (which most of us already have from other cards). Likewise, with the GE credit, which may of us already have multiple times over as well. This card is a HARD pass. Like, friends do not let friends get this awful card.

Priority Pass is unlimited but including one guest only. Not clear if Priority Pass would allow access to restaurants. 5000 anniversary points and receiving 10% of award costs back is nice. But the Paisly credit being broken up into up to 6 times $50 for a purchase of $250 or more is a deal breaker. If it would have been an actual $300 credit the card would have been worth considering, but with the Paisly credit broken up like this, the Plus or Business card looks better in comparison

Paisly Credit is trash! $50 credit after spending $250 up to 6 times! Not a one time credit.

Agree – and this card overall is woefully poor value. Only would be a marginal benefit to fliers flying out of hubs where JetBlue will hopefully put in lounges. Also cannot get the bonus if you’ve have had the JetBlue Plus card before!

Mint is still good, specifically the ‘thrown’ seats on rows 2 and 4 of their transcontinental or Caribbean a321 is decent. Likewise, their transatlantic new Mint is really good. Still have the most legroom in coach, and the newer cabins have even better IFE. Otherwise, yeah, the E190s are ancient. Operational reliability is strained. Financials are…eek. And the lack of a lounge even at T5 JFK is just sad.

A bit surprised the actual Premier card is exactly as leaked. So for $400 more, you get $300 of portal credit and PP/TSA over the Plus card (and early boarding from the Business card) for now. I imagine for legal reasons, they can’t mention access to their upcoming lounges that may be ready this year but could easily be delayed to 2026 or even 2027.
