- Get $80 when you sign up for Capital One Shopping, install their browser extension within 7 days, and then keep the extension installed for 90 days and use it to shop (no specified amount of shopping required).
- Referrer gets $80 as well.

The Fine Print
- Offer terms may change at any time. The operative offer terms for both Referrer and Refer-ee will be determined at the time the Refer-ee creates a Shopping User Account using a referral link. This offer is available only for Refer-ees who are new Capital One Shopping users (real people who do not have and have not previously had a Capital One Shopping User Account). For either the Referrer or Refer-ee to be eligible for a referral bonus, the Refer-ee must install either the Shopping desktop or mobile extension in their primary browser with full permissions, and on a device in which the extension has never previously been installed. The Refer-ee must install the Shopping extension within 7 days of creating a Shopping User Account using a referral link. The Refer-ee must then regularly use the Shopping extension and shop as they normally would, on their primary browser and with full permissions granted, for 90 days following the installation date. The referral bonus will be automatically applied to the relevant accounts within 30 days after the Referrer and Refer-ee have satisfied all requirements. Uninstalling the Shopping extension or changing its permissions at any time during the trial period will prevent both the Referrer and Refer-ee from receiving a referral bonus. To be eligible for this offer, both the Referrer and Refer-ee must be located in and reside in the United States. The Refer-ee must also provide a verified, unique email address, and complete their Capital One Shopping User Account. Additional identity, location, and other eligibility verification may be required. If a Refer-ee is not deemed eligible for a referral bonus, then neither will the Referrer, and vice versa. Bonuses will be awarded as Capital One Shopping Rewards, and are subject to the Capital One Shopping Terms of Service. All referral bonuses are subject to review. Capital One Shopping reserves the right to withhold, deny, or cancel any referral bonuses and/or Shopping Rewards and/or to terminate Capital One Shopping User Accounts if Capital One Shopping, in its sole discretion, deems any attempt to redeem a referral bonus to be fraudulent, abusive, unethical, suspicious, or otherwise inconsistent with any terms and conditions that accompany this offer, our Terms of Service or any other applicable law or regulation.
Our Verdict
Capital One Shopping is one that a lot of us find useful as well for their high rates and targeted offers. You can always remove the browser extension later if you don’t want it; I personally ended up keeping it on my browser.
The Capital One Shopping portal does not require having a Capital One card or bank account. Share your referral links in this post. Here is my own referral link – thank you to anyone who uses it.
Remember that the rewards are not cash but rather they cash out as gift cards for various brands. Still a very nice bonus for an easy shopping portal signup, though you’ll need to keep and use the extension for 90 days.

- Update 12/2/24: I just bumped into a public link (direct link) for signing up to Capital One Shopping with their browser extension and getting a $40 bonus after spending $15 within 90 days. (If you have a friend with a referral link who is not maxed out then use their link to get them a bonus as well; if not, this is a nice bonus for a simple portal signup.)

- Update 1/23/24: Some people didn’t get their $200 bonus. Many are reporting having success getting their $200 bonus by simply emailing and submitting a request ([email protected]).

Just note that there is a report of a new member not getting a bonus since the referrer had already met their referral max, and the terms indicate such a thing as well (“Referrer must not have exceeded their referral-based Shopping Reward payout maximum…”). So it’s really best to signup directly from a friend, not clicking a link on a blog.
