Kohl’s Money Maker After Rebates (Plus Lots Of Free Items)

The Offer

Rebate form here

  • Kohl’s currently has 8 appliances on sale for $19.99:
  • All of these items are eligible for a $12 Visa gift card rebate and you can do this five times per product. If you purchase all 8 appliances 5 times you’ll receive $480 in rebates.
  • If you apply WINTER15 (might need to use CATCH15 now) you’ll receive a 15% discount and get $10 in Kohl’s cash per $50 spent (more on this below). This brings your total to ~$678.3 (your tax might be slightly different)
  • Use code HOME10 for another $10 off $50 (you’ll need to split your transactions for this and do in store pick up or have a minimum of $75 per order for free shipping).
    • If you do in store pick up then you’ll want to order 3 items to hit $50 per order (saving you a total of $130)
    • If you do delivery you’ll want to order 5 items to hit over $75 per order (saving you a total of $80)
  • Totals after discounts will be approximately:
    • $548 for in store
    • $598 for online
  • Get $100-$110 in Kohl’s cash
  • Use a credit card to earn rewards, I think 2% is the best you can currently get for another $10-12 back
  • If you go through a shopping portal you can get 6% through eBates for another ~$32-$36 cash back
  • You’ll also earn some Yes2YOU rewards points worth another $30 or so

Our Verdict

They have offered similar deals in the past, I’d recommend reading through the comments in our previous post on a similar offer to get a better understanding of this deal. Here is the fine breakdown:

  • Purchase 40 items for:
    • $548 for in store
    • $598 for online
  • Get $480 in rebates
  • Get $100-$110 in Kohl’s cash
  • Get $10-$12 in credit card rewards
  • Get $32-$36 in portal cash back
  • Get ~$30 in Yes2You Rewards

If you go the in store route you’re basically getting $522 back + $100 in Kohl’s cash & $30 in Yes2You rewards for $548. Obviously not as good without going in store. The plus is that you can submit just one rebate and you’ll get a single card for $480 (still need to include all the individual UPC’s) so unloading that isn’t as difficult.

I personally find these too confusing and time consuming to be worth my time and I don’t really want to deal with 40 items. Make sure you do your own research to see if this deal works for your or not. If I missed anything important, feel free to correct me in the comments below.
