Kohl’s Rebate Deals: Get up to 40 Small Appliances Free After Rebate & Stacking

The Offer

Direct Link / Rebate Link (links in this post contain our affiliate link, remember to use a shopping portal instead)

  • Kohl’s is offering a $12 rebate on eight different small appliance items
  • Each item can get up to 5 rebates per product for a total of 40 rebates
  • The original rebate receipt or packing slip must be dated between 09/27/17-10/01/17

Altogether you can max this out by getting a $480 Visa prepaid rebate card from Kohl’s. Or just buy the few items that  you need.

The items are: hand mixer, slow cooker, toaster, coffee maker, blender, chopper, can opener, electric knife. The items are on sale for $17 instead of $30, and the $12 rebate brings down the cost to just $5 each. See below for more stacking.

Here’s the list of links:

Stacking the Deal

Shipping is free with $75 order. Alternatively, you can use store pickup to get it free.

If you max out all 40 items, you’ll pay $577.66 (plus sales tax) after promo code discount. You’ll get back $480 with the rebate. You’ll also get $130 in Kohl’s Cash, $25 in Yes2You Rewards, and 2,308 UR points (if you use the UR portal), plus 577 credit card points.

Our Verdict

Overall it should become profitable even without getting any benefit from the items themselves, albeit with the hassle of dealing with submitting the rebates.  Some people love these deals, others hate them. I would consider doing it if I needed the products, but I’ll pass on reselling. They could be nice gift items for the holidays too, if you don’t need them for personal use.

Hopefully, I get my rebate as USPS sent back my certified mail envelope as supposedly it was too big and was actually a package, requiring a $1.29 more postage (I used the kiosk to mail it). I asked if it would still be postmarked by the original date and she said something about it having both as it took a long time to get back to me: 10/6-10/26. Anyway, it looks good for me as this is what the rebate website says, I like the wording “valid”:

Rebate: $480.00 Prepaid Card
Rebate Information For: XXXXXXXXX
Promotion: Receive a $12 Kohl’s Visa Prepaid Card, by mail with the purchase of select Toastmaster kitchen electrics at Kohl’s or kohls.com.
Submission Type: MAIL-IN
Date Received: 11-01-2017
Status Detail: Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing.

So, for future reference, make sure these huge rebates have enough postage…

My rebate status came in initially at $444 (37 items). I wonder how hard I’ll have to fight to get the full $480 rebate.

Question: I picked up my items at Kohl’s today and was told the “receipt was in the bag.” There was no receipt but there was what could be considered a packing slip. It states what is in the order and has the date on it. Is this sufficient along with the rebate form and the UPC codes to get the rebate?

I’d probably try to get a real receipt if possible

I’m looking at the Rebate form and it says “original rebate receipt or packing slip. I ordered all 40 items – got the $110 Kohl’s bucks, and am putting the forms, upcs and packing slips in one envelop tomorrow. Anyone want to come get these 40 appliances out of my kitchen? My wife’s threatening bad things.

I plan to use it as a tax write-off. All things considered, if you value Kohl’s cash at $1 per .50, it comes out to about $10 in cost for the 40 items. As these are new, a donation still will come as a decent write-off, which will easily make this profitable as I given 10-20% of my income to charity, mostly religious.

Can we submit all the rebates in one envelop, or only one per envelop? Thank you for clarification.

Last time this deal came around, I sent all in one envelope and received the full rebate.

These are also able to stack with $5 Kohls Cash on Pickup. Suggest breaking up into multiple orders as well with 14 items on the first 2 orders, go do a pickup on 1 item (so you arent walking out of the store with 14 small appliances) get kohls cash and Yes2You rewards. Then do a 3rd order on 10/1 so you are able to use both the $10 Kohls Cash as well as the YES2You Rewards points that were accumulated on the first 2 orders.

Also Used GC’s Purchased from multiple places to get over 8%, this complicates things but allows to purchase now before the 5% Freedom category opens on Sunday.

Thought I would post this here. If you read the rebate T&C it says, ” Not valid with any other pro-
motions, with the exception of the Kohl’s Associate discount.

People who used discount codes last year still got the rebate. I’m thinking promotion could be another rebate type thing. On the packing receipt, the 15% is listed as “transaction discount” and not promotion.

Scott….for some reason didn’t see a way to “reply” to your question to me and comments….no, I didn’t use the products, I looked at the reviews, which are pretty consistently unfavorable except for the slow cooker. I didn’t say they were dangerous; somebody fire safety knowledge did. However, you said that if they were dangerous they wouldn’t be on the market, which is, unfortunately, disproved by the Consumer Product Safety recalls page….seven in the last week, covering a wide range of products including baby strollers and John Deere tractors and gas grills.

If you don’t like the deal move on. You have no proof that these products are dangerous.

Okay, question…..how do those of us who take advantage of this deal end up using the visa gift cards? I guess I would load them to Amazon but not sure that is really the best? Any other ideas

They are MetaBank VGCs so you can use them for MOs at WM or most grocery stores as the last four numbers of the card are the PIN for debit purchases.

I’ve done this deal a few times now and I’ve had troubles with the rebate submissions each time. I’ve always gotten the full refund amount in the end, but it’s been a hassle and the rebate always takes 6-8 weeks at the earliest. Just something I think others should know going in if this will be your first time doing the Kohl’s Toastmaster Deal.
