Hat tip to reader Mark D
Just a heads up, the pre-paid Visa reward cards sent from this Kohl’s Rebate are set to expire in or around this month 06/2024. They have to be activated on MyPrepaidCenter.com which takes approximately 1 minute per card.
I don’t want to lose the value by not spending the money in time!
I didn’t think to take a photo of my rebate before I sent it. Does anyone have the phone or email of the small appliance rebate for kohls from 11/2023? I have not received any of my money yet and need to call to check on it. Thanks!
Someone want to sell me some Kohl’s cash? Email me @ [email protected] if so.
It appears that Kohl’s rebate department is a racket. So I mailed in 45 fully completed rebate forms (They owe me a $540 rebate) in a single envelope with tracking. They receive it and I then get an email saying I am not eligible because:
1) I submitted more rebates than allowed
2) My purchase was outside the date range for the promotion.
Both of these are factually incorrect as my purchase was made on 11/23/23 and I submitted rebates for 9 separate products, 5 of each product (45 total).
I called the support # listed in the email and explained to them the issues and the representative is able to quickly fix the date issue (the person who took in the rebates recorded the wrong date). I am then told my rebate amount will be $240. I told her that was incorrect as I was owed $540. She then told me I would have to wait 7-10 business days for the correction to process.
I then go online to check the state of my rebate and it still shows a pending payout of $240. I then contact chat support online, re-explain everything, and after 20 minutes am told to wait 7-10 business days. This time though my rebate is put back into “Pending” status so I am not sent the wrong amount.
Based on other comments on this thread this appears to be a reoccurring issue (perhaps SOP) to discourage people from claiming their full rebate. I will update what happens next. Stay tuned…
I am having a similar experience but only $24 of mine was denied (see my post). Fuckers.
chicken_po_boy Read your post. Yeah, I idiot-proofed my mailing as well. These “errors” sure seem intentional. If I wind up getting screwed I’ll file complaints with BBB & FTC.
Update: Received an email today that I will be paid out the entire amount owed!
This is a comment for next year’s rebate. I am in Florida and I ordered from Kohl’s as soon as it showed up on the website on Sunday, November 19, around 12:53 am. After I sent in my rebate, I got rejections that the purchase was outside of the time period which was November 19. This is when I purchased, but I noticed later that the receipt was in CST and not EST which meant that the receipt was dated November 18. When I called Kohls.com, an employee with Kohls for 17 years, said she had never seen such a thing. But she resolved it by giving me Kohls cash for the rebate. Not the cash I was hoping for, but it was the easiest way to resolve this problem. Note to others – if you are in Eastern Time, order after 1 am on promo day.
Good advice 🙂
I sent them all 50 bar codes in the same envelope last week. Got an email this morning that my rebate is $72. After a quick chat with them, they corrected it to $600.
Had to do the same myself for a smaller amounts of items, amount pending was half what it was suppose to be. Not sure how their system works if it would have been corrected with further processing or if they would have mailed out the incorrect amount. Hopefully they are not sending out a ton of inaccurate rebate amounts. Other than that, at least it popped up in their system quicker than expected and I was able to get resolved in one interaction. Maybe will do more items next year but I have trouble getting much value out of Kohl’s cash.
Does anyone know if you’re allowed to send all of the same rebates in one envelope? For example, I bought two hand mixers, one slow cooker, and one immersion blender.
Could I cut out all of the UPCs, fill out one/four rebate forms, and send all of that in one envelope?
Or could I, at worst, fill out one form for the two hand mixers and send that in one envelope?
I plan on putting them all in the same envelope, with one receipt and one rebate form. I’ll write the qty of each on the rebate form as well. But I have 45 UPC’s to send in so I might bag them separately and also label the bags.
Oh, and I’m taking pictures of everything. And probably sending via certified mail.
Kohls got me fucked up if they think I’m mailing 40+ individual envelopes lmao
Looks like 3 envelopes for me because they will be sent to different Dept. although the addresses are the same.

I have one original packing slip, and I am looking for “The original rebate receipt.” I’m not sure what it is. Do they send us one?
To answer my own question, looks like they accept copy of the original receipt.
What needs to be sent in to earn the rebate? While there are two different kinds of rebates (Kohl’s awarded and manufacturer awarded) most mail-in rebates require only three things…
The original (or copy of the original) receipt or packing slipThe proof of purchase such as a UPC barcode off of the boxThe clearly legible rebate form filled out completely
For those who ordered 45 items, how many boxes did they split it into for shipment? I order under 10 items and it is nearly 20 pounds.
Box #1 arrived with 17 items. Still waiting on the rest.
4 boxes total
Thanks for the update! Good to know for the future.
Here is the best I could get the math to work out for me:
$764.50
+$70 (tax)
-$225 (Kohl’s cash)
-$38.23 (Kohl’s rewards)
-$600 mail in rebate
-$76.45 (SB cashback)
-$79.28 (7.5% cashback on Kohl’s giftcard through TCB + 2% credit card rewards)
This means that I would pay a total of $78.77 after all cashback
I would get $263.23 in Kohl’s cash and the 50 items.
My problem is that I am not sure if $78.77 is worth if for dealing with $600 worth of mail in rebates just to get $263.23 worth of Kohl’s cash and 50 items that I do not need. Kohl’s is just so over-priced compared to my usual shopping that $263.23 Kohl’s cash really only has a fraction of that value to me, especially if you only have a few day window to spend it.
If Kohl’s directly offered me $263.23 worth of Kohl’s cash for $78.77 I would probably say no, so I should probably not do this deal. Maybe the more reasonable thing to do would be to just buy 4 or 7 items at most.
I do not mind donating, but it will not affect my math because I take standard deduction.
Hope this works. I just bought (50) Toastmaster items (5 of each of 10 SKU’s). I went through Swagbucks. Total cost including tax was $806.62. I used $98.05 in (discounted) Kohl’s gift cards previously purchased, and put the remaining $708.57 on my new BoA Premium Rewards credit card. I did this mainly to put spend on the card to get the SUB, but the $225 in Kohl’s cash and $38.23 in Kohl’s rewards will help with some Christmas shopping. Yes, I realize I need to cut out 50 UPC symbols and deal with the mail in rebate to get my $600… and hope there are no hiccups. I’ll donate the items to charity. I’ll come back to this post and provide updates.
7646 SB are pending. So far so good.
Do you use mobile/Swagbucks app? When I try to click through to Kohls it just gives me an error. Did the same thing months ago when I bought an air fryer (although CS gave me the points)
I used my laptop, not the mobile app
the “Toastmaster Mini Chopper” showed out of stock for me earlier today. did you find it for shipping or pick up in store?
So as I now realized, I purchased 10 items (qty 5 each) but 1 of the items was ineligible for the rebate (see my other post). The 9 eligible items included everything except the mini chopper.
I briefly saw 2 come back into stock, but they were quickly back out of stock. I ended up just ordering under 10 items since I do not have that much use for Kohls’ cash. If the rebates go smoothly then maybe I will go bigger next year.
So there is one small hiccup. When I purchased the 50 items, I just quickly clicked through each of the 10 items on the webpage, and put 5 of each in my cart. What I didn’t realize was, one of the 10 items on the webpage (a different mini-skillet) was not eligible for the rebate because it’s not listed as one of the eligible SKU’s on the rebate form. Kohl’s must’ve put this item on the webpage by mistake, because later I saw it was removed. So I ended up buying 5 of an ineligible item. These 5 items are marked for in-store pickup, so I will pick them up and immediately return them. Actually, I think I will return 4 of them. If I keep one it will keep my order at $703.34 (before tax), meaning I will get $210 in Kohl’s cash down from $225. (If I return all 5 then I would drop down to $195 in Kohl’s cash). The other 45 items are being shipped to me.
I ended up returning all 5 of the mini-skillets purchased by mistake. As of now, I have received 17 of the 45 items being shipped to me.
Because I ended up returning the 5 non-eligible items, I ended up paying $725.89.
I mailed in my rebate paperwork today, for $12 x 45 items = $540. I took pictures of everything before sending.
My Kohl’s cash ended up being $195, plus another $34.40 in Kohl’s Rewards. I have spent most of it already on household items and Christmas presents.
I still have 7646 SB pending. I expect they will claw back 765 SB eventually.
Assuming I get the full refund and 10% of my SB eventually get clawed back… I will have spent: $725.89 – $540 – $68.81 = $117.08 to get $229.40 in Kohl’s cash. More importantly, I got $708.57 put on a new credit card towards the SUB!
Received an email saying my rebate for $516 was in process (should have been $540, so $24 less than I expected). Spent 30 minutes in chat with customer service. They said I submitted too many UPC’s for one of the items, so $24 was denied. This is entirely wrong, because I submitted exactly 5 UPC’s for each item. I even bagged them into 9 separate sandwich bags AND LABELED each bag… there is NO WAY even the dumbest person could have processed this wrong. I think the person who processed it must’ve done it on purpose. CSR initially asked me to send in pictures of the UPC’s..then said I didn’t need to and she would escalate my request without needing proof. I sent in the pics anyway. Need to wait 7-10 business days for a response.
Update: I received an email today saying that I would be getting the missing $24. Still waiting to get the checks (maybe VGC’s?) in the mail.
