I stopped by my local Starbucks and mentioned it was disappointing they weren’t doing anything special for National Coffee Day. The barista smiled and promptly brewed me a tall pourover, complimentary. Sometimes all you need to do is ask nicely!

I stopped by my local SB today at a Safeway on Sat, asking same. They told me nothing is on today, but they did run a free Tall coffee yesterday. They did ask me if I want a sample, though, and have a Trader Joe’s sized cup full of coffee!
