Our Verdict
This won’t code as a grocery purchase as it’s Kroger online and processed by Blackhawk Network. Stacks with the 4x fuel points promo.
Data point. The transaction is processed by Blackhawk. In Amex it shows as Business Services – Professional Services. Does not count for 3% online purchase for the BCE.
Counts as Kroger.com for Citi offers?
The local IHOP has started offering $5 off $25 purchase or 20% off coupons every month. Combined with the 20% discount on the eGift cards is a good deal.
Which credit card would give you the most points?? I tried BOA and it doesn’t count as online purchase
A 2%/2x card like Citi Double Cash or CapOne VX is probably a reliable bet that many people have. Whichever card you’re working on a sign-up bonus for is better. Best? Maybe liquidating some of those Visa/MasterCard gift cards purchased at 5x via Office Depot/Staples with fresh Inks.
the amex blue cash everyday is 3% on online retail, which seems to include kroger’s giftcard seller blackhawk network. i think i tested this once, worked, and have been using it ever since.
