I spent $30 on a Friday (3X Fri Sat Sun) and only received 1X fuel points. Is there a dollar threshold before 3X kicks in?

Listerine was only one gas point. but I did get #$0.00 off $30+ Listerine and a promo coupon to boot.

Most of my fuel points go to waste – partly due to less travel, but also because Shell stations are uncompetitive in my area, even when I cast a wide net using the Gasbuddy app (and how far do I want to travel to save a few bucks?)

P.S. Love it when their weekend starts on Friday. Who wants to go to the supermarket on Saturday or Sunday? Although I do love to get the discounted bread from the trolley by the restrooms – usually about 8 am on Saturday at my local.

Just an observation: i have been losing a lot of fuel points at the end of every month due to working from home (I used to have a 150-mile daily roundtrip so I bought a LOT of gas from Kroger). . I know it’s possible to extend them, but I don’t really need to, because I would just lose them at the end of the next month.
Since we don’t need the fuel points, we have been shopping more at other stores besides Kroger. I know they have said they’ll offer w grocery discount with the points- hope they do it soon.

Similar scenario for me in that we used to fill up at least enough to use our fuel points and now regularly dump a bunch down the drain each month. However a Kroger brand is the only decent option near us, I am not going to go further out of my way to get to a different brand. Fuel points have gone from a nice-to-have to a barely-nice-to-have, but they do not impact my buying decision at all.

Yeah- we moved and now there are closer options. We prefer Kroger still but sometimes we go to the closer store. When they send us $20 of $200 “best customer bonus” coupons, we always go!
I have long been getting Amazon GC at 4x points using BCP, which works out to the 6% plus roughly 8% more from the $20 off gas (saving $1/gallon times 20 gallons).
Kroger is my main stock I own too- definitely a KR fan!

For HT, you just call them and ask the to move it over to next month. Relatively easy.

Hold times can be long, and they say you can only do it 3 times in a calendar year. It’s also very hard to hear them, their VOIP phone lines are terrible.

I have not driven much as well, however their online digital coupons and mailed coupons tend to make up for not being able to use the points lately for me. I feel like I always get a free item or two and upwards of $5 off nearly every two weeks. If they stack points that would be awesome, but I’m sure those deals would diminish in return.

Yes- our Krogers are still cheaper than my local Food Lion, Wegmans, and Giant, and the coupons are great. I’m pretty sure Kroger doesn’t provide “Level 3” (which items you bought) data to Amex, either, because I get a lot of gift cards with my BCP and have done so for 3-4 years with no problems.
I rarely go just for GC either so I never have a $50 or $100 total that would alert the RATs 🙂
