I app’d SPG biz and Biz gold on 3/27, both auto-approved. All my credit lines are pretty low tho. I got instant denied for SPG personal when I app’d 4/2. Not sure if worth a recon? In general I HAVE gotten a lot of cards in last months (including 3 amex cc and 2 amex charge).
Applied today SPG Business and got approved. Can i apply another business card (amex gold business premium 75k) today to combine hard pull ? i read amex applies only one card per day.

Applied for SPG biz yesterday. Had 3 credit cards and two of them in last 90 days. My 90 day resets on 04/17, but just received a approval email just now. There is Hard pull in my EX from today. Any suggestions what else I should apply to use the hard pull?
Maybe Platinum from Schwab if you have an account with them and value the Plat benefits.
I currently have four credit cards with amex, but was planning to close one anyway. If I close one today, you think it would be a non-factor if I apply for SPG biz tomorrow?

you need to hold all your cards close until youre asked to show them. dont do anything until you get on the bargaining table. what if you cancel then you get declined? maybe you dont care since you plan to close anyway but still.

I have applied 3x for the SPG business, and was declined 3x for having too many accounts with american express. (I called up each time and got nowhere).
After each decline i closed 1 card and was left with 2 personal and 1 business card and i applied again for the 4th time and today i recieved this:

Haven’t applied for credit cards in a while. What is a success rate of applying for both personal and biz cards on the same day (today) ?
You will likely get approved for your first card, and the second card will go to pending and you will get an answer in 5 days.
My app was pending for 20d. But finally approved for my 5th Amex credit card.
My app is pending for 4 days already. I have a feeling they will decline me since I applied for a ton of cards lately

Wow T, I am in the exact same position..Had apps on 1/4 and 3/5, so my first app rolls off tomorrow too! I read the terms as saying it must be received BY 4/5. That means you can apply on 4/5 according to my understanding, am I wrong?

If you applied on the 4th, your 90 is up today, but i would apply tomorrow, if its still available tomorrow, just to be sure you’re in the clear. I hope its available tomorrow.

I applied for the card, and got denied due to the Amex 2/90 rule. But in 26 days I will no longer be under 2/90. Does anyone know if I can call recon after that and get my application reconsidered still with the 35k bonus attached?
Make sure you note down reference id for the application. I will have to do the same as I will be turned down for 2/90. I will be calling back by the end of the month and asking them to recon and then get the offer.
