I have had my account for over a year. Initially, I received $20 per month in rewards for the first year and $10 per month thereafter using bank-to-bank transfers with Ally. However, Ally now categorizes these transfers as P2P, so I am no longer receiving the rewards.

Just FYI – they shut me down after my first direct deposit from my paycheck went through for 2500, then I transferred it back out the next day to another bank. It was my mistake, didn’t read the warnings below. It was my first shutdown, will be more cautious in the future. Lesson learned.

Did you transfer from Laurel Road side? I’ve always pushed and pulled from Ally and no issues.

I always push into and then pull out with a credit card payment. But they probably stop paying attention after the account is seasoned a bit.

I might be oblivious, but is this Churnable? They canceled my account since I wasn’t using it.

Worth noting, Laurel Road primarily refinances medical student loans. Not to say they absolutely don’t refinance other types, but they focus on healthcare student loans.

P2 applied last time and never got an approval or denial. Waste of time.
