At the moment you can get a bonus of 100,000 points on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card when applying online, you can also get 100,000 points with the annual fee waived first year and a $50 grocery credit when applying in branch. We saw a lot of coverage of the first deal, but not so much coverage of the second deal. I thought I’d just list the blogs that did cover the second deal below:
- US Credit Card Guide
- Danny Deal Guru
- Frequent Miler
- Miles to Memories
- Miles Earn And Burn
- Miles & Pints Podcast
- Help Me Build Credit
I’m sure I’ve missed some blogs, so let me know and I’ll add them above (link farms will not be included). Keep in mind you can also now refer people to this 100,000 offer as well (not the in branch offer).
Doc is the best, Will and Chuck are two stand up dudes. Doc is the only blog of this type I follow. I love the way you carry this site and your philosophy of sharing the best deals to your readers. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Does anyone know when this offer (online and in branch) expires?
July 17th at the earliest.
appreciate this. the good ones should be rewarded. and +2 points for DoC
Less than the number of digits on both hands?
“Danny the deal guru” dude not to be confused with dansdeals.
It would be nice if you did one of these accountability style posts every so often, perhaps once a quarter, or if that is too frequent, then twice per year.
This is really cool of y’all. Major props.
In all fairness, I see View from the Wing has the story.
Link?
Sorry….he.just has the referral option.

Is there an upgrade offer for the CSP from CF or CFU? One of my friends was talking about being able to upgrade and get to 100k point offer that way, but I don’t think that’s the case…
AmEx does this, but I have never heard of this happening with Chase. Even if you were to get an upgrade offer, it wouldn’t be the same as the sign up bonus for opening a new account from scratch.
That’s exactly what I told her, but she seemed convinced. I’m about 99% sure she’s incorrect, but that’s ok.
