Lyft Launches New Membership Program ‘Lyft Pink’ – $19.99 Per Month For 15% Off All Rides & More

After much testing and pilot programs Lyft has launched a new membership program called ‘Lyft Pink‘. Lyft Pink costs $19.99 per month and comes with the following benefits:

  • 15% off all car rides
  • 3 complimentary bike or scooter rides (30 minutes maximum) per month
  • Priority airport pick ups
  • 3 free cancellations per month
  • No lost & found fees
  • Surprise offers

Main benefit is really the 15% discount. You basically need to spend $133.33 per month on Lyft rides to come out ahead if you value the other benefits at $0. Personally I don’t like to be locked into a specific ride sharing program so will be giving this a miss.

I am unable to find how to buy this membership. Is the membership already available for all riders?

Isn’t it feasible, if not likely, that Lyft will just inflate the cost of the rides for these accounts to make it look like the 15% off is a “deal”?

If they like regulatory scrutiny… sure. Which way is the flag blowing when it comes to putting teeth behind government regulators?

I’ve often heard Uber charges more if you have a gift card than not

Always chuckle when Lyft/Uber offer X% off, then when I go to book, the discounted ride costs the same as the other service that has no promo running.

Yep. And its really silly because it is one of the easiest situations to compare prices. The fact that it gets anyway is crazy.
