Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
Silver checking has no monthly fee to worry about. You do need to opt out of paper statements otherwise a $4 fee will be charged.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.
Our Verdict
Previous best bonus was $100, but didn’t require a direct deposit. Personally think this is a better bonus as it’s significantly better, but that will depend on how easy it is for you to set up a direct deposit. I’ll be adding this to our best bank account bonus.

Application denied, told me that “This adverse action was taken due to incomplete, inaccurate, or false information contained within the application”, which was based on a soft pull from Experian.
Not sure what went wrong…
Bonus received today for P2 after completing requirements using work DD
Nice touch they also send you a special email that you have received the bonus
Anyone have any idea what works as DD? No DPs on the list. Chase personal checking codes as “Ext Trnsfr JPMorgan Chase PPD” – guess I’ll find out in a month or two
