Does Luxor now count as both Africa and Marriott?

It definitely doesn’t count as Marriott (it’s neither owned nor operated by Marriott).

As for the second part to your question: I’ll leave it to the geography experts as to whether Las Vegas is in Africa or not. That’s far too difficult for me to answer.

Oh. Actually, Marriott and MGM do a partnership. It still wouldn’t count (based on the terms in the offer), but it wasn’t a bad question to ask (the first part of the question at least, lol).

I thought this was weirdly targeted for me, as I live in Egypt, but I’m currently in Germany. Guess I can take the tinfoil hat off; its publicly available. Weird that it started last month, but only now got pushed out.

Are you Tom Cruise? Or Ethan Hunt? Tom

Brendan Fraser, actually. But the one who kills mummies for a living, not the morbidly obese one.

Germany, Middle East and Africa seem like an odd combination….
What makes them choose Germany out of Europe? What about Vietnam or Malaysia?
Are they mocking the migrants in Germany or South Europe?

It’s not really that odd. Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are often grouped together (as “EMEA”) in business matters.

Also, keep in mind the historic context of trade, movement of people, colonization and such. Europe, the Middle East and Africa aren’t exactly strangers to each other. Additionally, everything in the EMEA is all within the same handful of time zones.

The only thing slightly odd (on the surface) is signaling out Germany from the rest of Europe. I say on the surface because Marriott has 12 properties in Germany (Marriott’s biggest single-country market in continental Europe). Why not just include all of continental Europe then? No idea. Could be as simple as maybe Marriott’s German hotels aren’t getting as many customers right now.
