Marriott Week Of Wonders Returns For 2021

Update 10/7/21: Week of Wonders is officially back for 2021 with the following:

  • Off peak pricing. Over 4,000 properties are available at off peak pricing (roughly half of properties)
  • 25% off. This is off the full rate. Valid on stays through January 17, 2022
  • Cobranded card members get 2,000 bonus points per stay. Valid on bookings made October 7 – 14, 2021 and for stays by  November 21, 2022. Limit one stay
  • Bunch of other useless discounts.

Off peak pricing is really the only interesting one.

Original post: Marriott will be offering Week of Wonders in 2021 again. At the moment we don’t know what these deals are, but they will be released on October 7, 2021. Last year deals were weak, although 90% of properties were offered at off peak pricing (not a huge deal considering the pandemic).

Has anyone been able to buy points on this offer today?? I’ve tried about 5 different credit cards, with all of them having pending charges but no confirmed points purchase. All with perfectly matching information to account , cc account , billing address etc. Has anyone been able to find the issue/solution. Points.com which does the processing has no customer service phone line.

The off peak pricing is a lie. We are planning a weekend trip to LA on an upcoming weekend and 90% of properties are unavailable or pricing on peak. The only ones pricing off peak are the bottom of the barrel

Do you search day by day? How do I look at availability for a month?

Marriott stays over the past year almost never post to my account without weeks of phone calls. if they’re trying to drive business this stuff has to work. Well, they are driving business, to other chains.

Hard pass

Limited to 1 stay. “You will earn the 2,000 bonus points on one eligible stay. This offer is capped at one stay per member, even if you hold multiple Marriott Bonvoy Credit Cards.”

Cobranded card members get 2,000 bonus points per stay. I think this is just a one time 2,000 point bonus.

Weak or not, if the value is >0 and the bookings are refundable, it is not a bad thing
