Reader Joshua sent in an email he received from Masterpass about their mobile app which will be discontinued on April 10th. My understanding is that Masterpass as a whole will continue, just the dedicated app will be discontinued. Masterpass is similar to Paypal or Visa Checkout which you see at checkout on numerous retailers. While it’s owned by Mastercard, they allow you to pay with any major credit card including Visa, Amex, and Discover.
