- Receive at least two recurring direct deposits of $1,000 or more into the new checking account within 90 days of account opening
The Fine Print
- ffer is only available to: 1) Maryland residents; 2) Department of Defense personnel and their families; or 3) existing Tower members as of 6/15/2026. Offer not available to current checking account holders or those whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance within the past 3 years. This offer is valid for new Tower checking accounts opened from 6/15/2026 to 9/30/2026. Must enter promo code ORIOLES or BALTIMORE at account opening (promo code cannot be applied retroactively). Membership eligibility required. This offer is not available to individuals who have received a Tower checking bonus within the past 48 months. Offer cannot be combined with other Tower checking offers. Limit one checking bonus per household, defined as all individuals residing at the same physical address, regardless of the number of accounts or account holders.

Our Verdict
Previously only available in MD, so nice to see it open to a lot more states. I can see this being pulled early. Will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.
