The Fine Print

• Direct deposit must remain active for at least 90 days
• Requirements must be completed within 90 days of account opening
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

It doesn’t look like there are any monthly fees for this account. I was unable to find a full fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.

Our Verdict

It’s not worth considering the $50 Visa card bonus, this would result in a hard pull and there are much better credit card cash bonuses out there. The bad thing about this bonus is that it requires you to keep the direct deposit active for at least three months as well as the 10 monthly debit card transactions.

Given we don’t know what will qualify as a direct deposit and if this is a hard or soft pull I’d recommend giving this bank bonus a miss for now. Instead check out some of our recommend bonuses.
