Meijer: Apple Watch 3 $199, Apple Watch 4 $349 – Both Offers Get $85 Off Next Purchase

The Offer

  • Meijer is offering $85 off your next purchase when you purchase an Apple Watch. Prices are as follows:
    • Series 3 for $199
    • Series 4 for $349
  • They also have an iPad for $299 with the same $85 off offer, but unsure what generation iPad it is

The Fine Print

  • Starts 9/27/19
  • Limit of 2

Our Verdict

This brings down the prices to $114 and $264. Think that’s the cheapest I’ve seen the Apple watch for, 5th generation just came out so that it is to be expected.

Can confirm, $85 coupon prints in combination with MPerks rewards redemptions and other clipped MPerks coupons. Picked up 2 watches tonight and used a total of $57 in MPerks discounts

Just FYI, those coupons to use on your next purchase reduce the return value of whatever you buy. So it’s best to use them on things like groceries or other items you know you would not consider returning.

Is this via MPerks?

It’s in the 2 day ad on meijer.com so not a coupon you need to clip.

One note about the $85 coupon, it prints out at the register so as they’ve done in the past, it will have to be used within like 2 weeks and all in one shot.

I’m looking at the ad on the app right now. Limit 2 per customer. Language says you get a coupon printed with an Apple Watch 3 priced $199 or more. I take that to mean if you use additional coupons/discounts the $85 coupon will not print. I hope I’m wrong. There’s an Mperk reward of $5 for every $50 in gift cards purchased up to 10. I’m hoping I can buy $500 in Best Buy gift cards, turn around and use the $50 in rewards on the $199 Apple Watch 3 and then get the $85 coupon, but I’m doubtful.

I don’t think you’ll earn Mperks on gift card purchases. Also  William Charles , if you’re a regular Meijer shopper, you should check how much spending is remaining for earning their next rewards. Say, you’re currently working towards “spend $150 get $3 off, and you have just $10 to go to earn the $3 off, you should buy some groceries (>$10) first to complete the current earning. Then buy the large ticket item on a separate transaction, this way you’ll trigger a new reward and hopefully that’s “spend $500 get $10”.

There’s an MPerk rewards card in my app for $5 for every $50 gift card purchase excl Amazon, apple, prepaid, etc. Limit 10.

There’s a current deal of a $5 mperk reward for every $50 in select gift card purchases so they’re right that they can get those reward.

As for completing the spending reward, every time I complete one, $2 after spending $100, it starts over. It hasn’t changed to a larger one. I’m a frequent shopper there though or maybe my region doesn’t do variable rewards.

Oh you’re right! I misread the post. As for the reward, it changes based on your spending pattern. I sometimes spend a few hundred dollars a day(for my business) and meet the requirement a few times in one week. The spending requirement increases to the next level. Then if I don’t meet the requirement within a period of time, it lowers the threshold. So far “spend $500 get $10 off” is the biggest I saw, the rate is still the same though. Anyway, if you plan to buy anything over $100 it’s worth to check if you’re close to complete the current reward.

Yes, that will work. It takes 1-2 hours for your rewards to post in mperks. I’ve done it before.

They’ll work to trigger the coupon? Just trying to confirm.

Edit to confirm: Yes, the $5 off rewards (and most other rewards, according to my cashier) do work.
