Thanks for the update. Got a Disney trip planned, the Disney GCs at Meijer are a good way to start chunking out the bill with a high reward and cashback rate when coupled with grocery spend too.
It should be mentioned meijer allows you to redeem mperks points for gas. You can redeem 10,000 points for $1 off per gallon of gas, up to 30 gallons. mperks points also expire every 90 days instead of at the end of the second month like Kroger fuel points.
Meijer gas is top-tier rated as well unlike Kroger which doesn’t have a rating.
Good if you have a large tank. I do get gas there a lot, just not enough to make it worth using points that way.
Gotta just use 10 gallons to breakeven. I normally fill my suv up with $15. Still better than the $10 in groceries
I’ve heard of people with multiple cars gaming it by filling two cars at once to get 30 gallons or at least close to it with each reward.
Can’r remember the last time I put 10 gallons in my car, it’s only 13 gallons or so capacity and usually fill at half and even that is every other week.If you have a large tank, of course better, but I just don’t don’t fill enugh to use points that way.
I bring a couple 5 gal gas cans every time I fill up to max out the 30 gal. Works out to a 30% discount on the gift cards (or 40% if you hit one of the 7500pts/$50 GC deals). One of the best deals out there.
I just noticed that Staples.com is selling Meijer eGift cards.
Loaded up on some Disney for an upcoming trip. Very timely for a little bit of an elevated offer too (normally only 5000/$5 per $50 instead of this 7500/$7.50)

Fine print says 50,000 points limit per customer. Does it mean I can buy $500 gift cards and earn 50K points before this coupon expires? Sorry for beginners question, I am trying it for the first time.

Hopefully it will for the Capital One Savor card as well.
It really is double dipping when you churn Discover account and will get 10% after the cash back match on that end. Plus they for last Q2 had gift cards in the gas station and the express in this area counted towards gas stations. And now this Q3 is grocery.

It’s pretty always been $50 or $100. I don’t think I’ve seen a $25 promo, that’d be nice. A couple weeks back they had 15k points for $100, that was good.

I just blew most of mine on the Apple AirPods Pro deal Meijer just had. With coupons the 2nd gen version could be had for ~$150. MPerks gave me really nice discount on top of that.
