Great deal if you’re eligible for an account and have a large direct deposit to move over. The previous deal was for $750 without the high direct deposit requirements – see the comments on the prior posts to read experiences with the credit union.

has anyone had success joining oos with family connection? if so, what kind of proof did they ask for?
Replied to wrong comment
Just opened online in MI, Chex stats around 5/1, 9/2, 14/6, something like that? Chex score of 801. I asked CSR for fine print of promotion to see what qualifies as a Direct Deposit — they don’t seem to have any.
any recent data points on chex sensitivity? actual numbers for approval/rejection would be helpful (and whether in-footprint or oos)
Anyone have issues where the direct deposit is being posted on the “primary savings” account rather than the checking account? I verified the account/routing numbers
No, but it seems that the “account number” for the checking and savings are the same. Try using the MICR #
I closed my last account ($750 bonus) 2 months ago. Itching to open this one. $1,000 difficult to let go. I am planning to use real DD so that I can make a complain if they don’t pay. They do not mention any waiting period in their Terms..
Early DPs, just based on the auto-assigned category:
Fidelity: DepositsAlly: DepositsChase Business: Paycheck/SalaryWise (from balance, RTP, reference “payroll DD”): DepositsWise (from connected account, reference “payroll DD”): Paycheck/SalaryI think someone else mentioned in another thread, but to force ACH over RTP on Wise, you can pay with a connected account. It will take longer to pay with the account linked with microdeposits vs Plaid. Plaid allows them to check the balance, I believe. Wise just quoted me $28 in fees for a 10k transfer from connected bank account, so I’ll probably be sticking with my Chase Business account.
Can you expand on using Wise for DD here? Is your Wise account personal or business? Was your linked account verified with microdeposits or plaid?
mjm Can you test Wells Fargo? DP that worked. Curious to see if it shows as Deposit
Did you do personal Wise, just want to make sure this satisfies the requirement
Just wanted to say “Thank you” for this very useful information.

a bit close, applied today anyway, got pending. Always find it interesting to look at the network requests a site makes, the reponses very often have more detail than the page will show you. Mine showed this:

“KYC DOB Match”,
“KYC SSN Match”,

“KYC Name Match”,

what were your counts/did they cite any particular number as being too high?
If you churned the prior $750 bonus you must have had the checking closed past 6 months. This closeenuff is the regular checking they just renamed it.
The agent conveniently told me I need to have had closed the prior checking over 6 months ago after opening the closeenuff checking for me over the phone and telling me I would not qualify.
Strange – nowhere in the T&C mentioned this 6 month thing. killdozer Do you think they do have this rule in place or it’s just the agent’s own opinion?
I was opening over the phone and the agent told me this. They said closeenuff is the same account as their prior checking just a rename and their being a 6 month no churning allowed. They dont really even have any readable T&C for this offer but I believed what the CSR said.
Confirm this is correct through CSR.
Oh, well, guess I just wasted a chex pull since <6 mth for me, but fortunately I haven’t started the DD
