Will, thanks for posting. This coupon actually gets you both a flash drive AND microSD card. The employee let me have 2 flash drives instead. YMMV. Will, thanks for posting! MicroCenter is a great store with knowledgeable employees.

If you dont need it, consider donating it (or any you have lying around) to a good cause, such as https://flashdrivesforfreedom.org/

Don’t store important stuff on the free drives. They all died within a couple of years.

Do we need to have received the email in order to redeem it? I previously unsubscribed from their email list.

Not needed. The link would have a bar code for it and that’s enough.

No, they don’t, present the coupon, and take the stuff home for free.

Free and easy storage. Good for P1 and P2. Could probably use these for some education storage

I went there yesterday day and got the 32GB for $3.75. Pretty cheap. The speed is equivalent to the sandisk (up to 100Mbps version ~$9). The staffs are very nice and helpful

MicroCenter has periodically offered this for some time to get people to visit their store. I’ve bought a few things from them before.

From past experience at NY Metro stores:

The redeemable items are kept in bulk (without retail packaging) behind the check-out registers and the cashier will hand one to you.

MicroCenter seems to assign a nominal value of 1 cent for the “free item” after coupon is redeemed at the register. If you just redeem the coupon and purchase nothing else, it’s completely free. If you’re buying something else and redeem the coupon in the same transaction, you will be charged 1 cent (+ tax).
