Our Verdict
Good deal, although I expect everywhere will be busy with these prices.
So everyone who wants to save a couple of dollars will show up! full theaters with people being loud and annoying (don’t forget infectious!). No thank you! Feel free to take my spot for any crappy movie that might be out!
Not many movies worth seeing, that’s for sure. Still amusing to see the level of fear that the CDC and related authorities have drilled into people, even after the CDC reversed its guidelines two weeks ago. Oh no it’s the crowds!!’
I was at the movie theater a few months ago and when I went to the bathroom I watched a parade of dudes exit bathroom stalls and head straight for the door. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer my hands to not smell like piss or shit.
When I was getting snacks, I watched people lick the butter off their hands, then touch every surface at the concession stand. Overfilling sodas that then spill down the side, licking the soda off their fingers and selecting a different drink.
COVID has nothing to do with it. The general public is pretty fucking disgusting.
CMX allows you to buy the tickets in person to avoid the fee. Additionally they offer $5 movies every Tuesday
Excellent deal for boomers, people without internet, and tech illiterates who don’t know how to set up home theater systems or microwave popcorn.
woah chill
So you cussed yourself out ?
I know….. lol I’m so confused…

Any way to buy tickets w/o fees? Wait until Saturday and walk up to the window and pay $3?
3.00 is still too much. Who wants to deal with parking/malls/traffic, crime, when Comcast inc. HBO/Max/Netflix/Peacock in my plan. Overpriced but I’m paying the same as before the pandemic. Comcast added these channels at no charge during the dark days of the pandemic. granted, still hard to find a good movie on many of them. Even Cinemax/HBO/Showtime etc have a few good ones mixed in. “As They Made Us” with Dustin Hoffman, and Wonder Woman 84 surprise ending for us “older” folks.
okay, boomer
The most psychiatrically confused generation in all of human history is trying to be pre-judgmental about Age of all things.
I believe your corrupt messiah is a boomer, plus some.
This would be a much better deal if there were any decent IMAX/Dolby movies playing in your area. I bought my $3 ticket + $2.32 fees for a lowly 2D showing of that Tilda Swinton movie where Idris Elba plays a genie in a bathrobe.
The only IMAX showings I can find are for Jaws (1975) and Rogue One lolololol but also the regular 2D movies are mostly shit right now omg no one wants to see Spiderman NWH a third time jfc
$2.32 in fees? Think I’ll stay away.
No decent movies? Jaws is an all time great and in IMAX? We’re going to see it Sat.
