Our Verdict
$200 is the best bonus they offer on this card, although earlier in the year it only required $2,000 in spend. There are better cash sign up bonuses, but most people will have signed up for most of those cards already. If you’re eligible for Navy Federal cards, then this definitely isn’t a bad offer although the minimum spend requirement is quite high for such a card. If you put the same $3,000 in spend on a 2% card, you’d earn an additional $15 cash back. It’s also not worth getting this card to put regular spend on it, as there are plenty of 2% cash back cards.
Hat tip to reader Jason
I haven’t looked since I saw this, but NFCU was recently offering a bonus % of some sort for using the card at warehouse stores. They are also offering a referral bonus for signing up a friend. Last I heard on that one is that sometimes you had to go in branch. I’d check my account for the specifics, but I’m mobile at the moment.
2% at sam’s, costoco, or bj’s.
$50 referral fee up to 5 people for total of $250 through the end of the month of September.
Is this once per lifetime? I have gotten this before but I don’t see anything about it being once per lifetime, rather once per promotion.
No idea as I don’t have access to these cards, give it a try and let us know.
Curious if you can pull the same trick used in the BoA MLB cards… multiple cards, multiple sign up bonuses, and one hard pull? Anyone know?
Even if that is the case, it just does not seem worth it as the MLB cards had a much minimum spend as I recall – I thought it was either $500 or $1,000.
Very first item in the fine print:
1. One offer valid per cardholder issued new cash Rewards credit card accounts.

True true true. If you hate trump, ,click on his ads and waste his money.
Not his money actually but those of science deniers. Idiots that will deny science bUT have no problem using scientific inventions for life of luxury. Hypocrites.
Please don’t engage in click fraud on this site, it just means we earn less money.
what about those who champion false theories like “global warming” but globe trot around in private jets? al gore? leo dicaprio? i guess being a science believer absolves you from any personal accountability on the issue. lets compare carbon footprints

I don’t want to see any political ads.

He loves the poorly educated and they love him back
i think after she loses, Hil should host a symposium on how to trade cattle futures
economists from the University of North Florida and Auburn University investigated the odds of gaining a hundred-fold return in the cattle futures market during the period in question. Using a model that was stated to give the hypothetical investor the benefit of the doubt, they concluded that the odds of such a return happening were at best 1 in 31 trillion
WTF is up with the Trump ads?
Please say we won’t see those the next two months!
I’m not seeing any political ads, maybe they’re targeted?
this is an idiotic thing to post anyways, likely that this website uses an ad service, and doesn’t even pick and choose specifically which ads get posted. And yes, MH, we are approaching the fall of an election year. You will see many political ads in many different places. You can go back to your safe space for now, I’ll let you know when the election is over
won’t be necessary, thanks the same.
If you are that concerned, use an adblocker.
Ads are served by Google adsense, we don’t have do any editorial control over the ads – as then ‘approved’ ads would be seen as been endorsed by us and that’s very rarely the case. Just ignore any ads you don’t find interesting.
YMMV. but DoC does NOT control that space. Google does.
