Our Verdict
The $200 Instacart credit with no spend requirement is nice, just remember you are using up a 5/24 spot. Instacart+ costs $99/year and adds a nice value. Some of us recently got a free year of Instacart+ from the Sapphire Reserve card which makes that benefit not so useful at the moment.
Beyond the initial bonus, the main interesting thing is 5% back on Instacart purchases which is useful for heavy Instacart shoppers. It’s on par with the 5% Amazon and 5% Target REDcard offerings.
An interesting note: readers say that given the lack of spend requirement, the signup bonus might combine with other bonuses from Chase (e.g. credit card referral bonuses) to reach the $600 for triggering a form 1099.

I’ve got 250$ on my instacart balance and made a couple of orders. It’ll take time to spend all 250. How fast can I cancel the card? I don’t need it. They won’t get the bonus back?
Applied on 12/3 and immediately went into “in review” status. Haven’t heard from them yet.
810+ score across all 3 bureaus, only 1 hard inquiry in the last two years, and no new accounts in the last year (under 5/24).
I just received this card and got the $250 credit but I am unable to get the instacart+ free year…anybody else have this problem? I currently don’t have instacart+ but I did use other chase credit cards to get the instacart+ for free. Does that make me ineligible to get the free year with this card?
No free year in this offer. But you can have 2 months of instacart+ with this mastercard or any other mastercard.
I order from Aldi, BOGO from Publix, sometimes Costco, BJ’s etc has promo 10 off 35$. Pickup without instacart+ is 1.99 which is ok if I have full cart of Publix bogo.
I was approved two days ago and still haven’t seen my credit in Instacart
Did you get it?
Applied on 11/18/23. Immediately went to review. Chase just called and left a message to return call. I did so and am now approved. Looking forward to some free Aldi provisions delivered during a Chicago snow dump this winter.
Stay warm SOZ. I have empathy for you with the snow. Are you under 5/24? SOZ
Instacart delivery would come in handy for you. You can do pick-ups too
Guys, do you see a year of free Instacart+ in this promo?
Does the card earn cashback as UMR points? Can they be redeemed with a CSP for travel? If so then this might actually make sense. 🤔
I got the amazon primecard earlier this year with $200 dollar gift certificate, free flex (200)would this bonus push me over $600 and have me get a 1099?
No, it’s not bank interest.
i just want anime weeb credit cards
